Backroom Tom Posted February 5, 2011 Author Backroom Posted February 5, 2011 Amazing day in the Premier League, shame we can't enjoy it Oh bugger Newcastle are going to pull this back
RibbleValleyRover Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Wonder what the record is for the most penalties in a day of fixtures in the premier league? There has been loads of them today.
G Somerset Rover Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 There goes a £200 win off my accumulator after Arsenal just bottled a 4-0 lead with all of my others comfortably coming home. What a great day.
Backroom Tom Posted February 5, 2011 Author Backroom Posted February 5, 2011 Wonder what the record is for the most penalties in a day of fixtures in the premier league? There has been loads of them today. The records for most goals and most pens scored have been broke today I hate Newcastle
Rovermatt Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 How Wenger is so untouchable I'll never know. His team is full of complete chokers!
Commondore Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Was that Bolton's third stoppage time heartbreak this season?
tommm Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Wonder what the record is for the most penalties in a day of fixtures in the premier league? There has been loads of them today. There were 7 penalties today, which according to Opta's twitter is a new PL record.
brian_gallagher85 Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 How Wenger is so untouchable I'll never know. His team is full of complete chokers! First team ever to let a 4-0 lead slip in Premier League history...
Look4Me Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 There were 7 penalties today, which according to Opta's twitter is a new PL record. I think there were 8, actually, but 7 goals. Newcastle had 2, ManCity had 2, we had 1, Wigan had 1 and Spurs had 2, but missed one..
ben_the_beast Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 United have done us no favors there. Abject performance
Look4Me Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 United have done us no favors there. Abject performance They were really poor. Hardly created anything the second half. Poor selection and tactically naive?
Hughesy Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Was that Bolton's third stoppage time heartbreak this season? Not sure as they seem to have won loads late on....like sturridge against Wolves. And very late on against us.
Backroom DE. Posted February 6, 2011 Backroom Posted February 6, 2011 Got to laugh at Arsenal, spineless and have been for years. Today showed exactly why their current team, for all their flair and pretty football, will never be champions. No backbone. Utd's defeat against Wolves was coming, too. They've been terrible away from home for the entire season, can't believe they've made it this far without losing to be honest. Gomes with a howler today... back to his usual form, then. Shame he decided to have a blinder Wednesday
RevidgeBlue Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Blackpool seem finally to be on the slide. When Holloway deliberately fielded a weakened side in the 3rd round of the FA Cup away at Southampton and they got stuffed 2-0 I wondered if that might be a momentum buster. Doesn't look like it helped.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Di Matteo sacked from West Brom, wow.
sweet Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 If west brom really want to stop being a yo yo club this time around, then surely they have to go after Allardyce. However, it seems whilst west brom want to stay in the prem, they have some sort of affinity to managers who play 'possesion' football.
Backroom Tom Posted February 6, 2011 Author Backroom Posted February 6, 2011 After all the hype and build this Chelsea Liverpool match has been awful as is the case so often with these big games Sky promote.
adopted scouser Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Well done Liverpool, particularly staying high up the field in the last few minutes, stop Chelsea getting out of their own half.
BRFC1995 Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 After all the hype and build this Chelsea Liverpool match has been awful as is the case so often with these big games Sky promote. as a neutral that was painful to watch....both of those teams have some serious deadwood issues horrible advert for the premier league
