How good does Suarez look for Liverpool?

Swapping Torres and Babel for Carroll and Suarez might be the best thing that's ever happened to them.

Too right, Dalglish aint daft.

Wanted Suarez here, until we realised Venky's didnt have the cash to fullfill their promises.

Yet they still draw 1 all at home to Wigan, they can have a team of Suarez they are still ######

WHU have some very tough games from now until the season ends.

They are of course guaranteed 3pts on May 7th.

Wolves have the best run in on paper at least.

Can only see Wigan getting 8pts more, 10 max.

Blackpool will only get 1 more win.

That's 1 more than Rovers will get judging by today.

As there are currently three teams with a point or less per game I see no reason to suggest that situation will alter drastically over the last dozen or so games.

39 points should just about be safe imo. Not that anyone will want to cut it anything like that fine by choice.

I seriously don't see us as being in danger of relegation, but I do expect the club to improve every season, so I was expecting us to try and consolidate our position in the top 10. It doesn't look like that will be happening now with our form being absolutely horrid and some of the teams around us finally starting to gel and go on improved runs. Sunderland, Bolton, Stoke, Fulham, Aston Villa, Everton and Newcastle should all finish above us.

The current bottom 5 is likely to be involved in a relegation scrap, but the rest of us should be safe. The bigger concern will be next season depending on if Kean is still around and what players we bring in/let go.

..... Would be fairly calamitous if we were to get involved in a relegation battle.

John, at this stage of the season, looking at the fixtures forward and remembering the last couple of performances it would be very very dangerous to assume that we are not in one!

I've got two bets running now that we will be relegated... got odds of 4:1 mind. ;)

If you look at form over the last twelve games it paints a different picture though, again looking over the last 6 then there is one stand out candidate for dropping into the bottom three, that being Blackpool, but as I said the last twelve games look like this points per games.

WHU 16 1.33

Wolves 16 1.33

Fulham 16 1.333

Stoke 14 1.166

Birmingham 14 1.166

Everton 13 1.083

Bolton 13 1.083

Wigan 13 1.083

Rovers 11 .916

Blackpool 11 0.916

WBA 9 0.75

Two of the three bottom clubs at the moment could reach 39 points and Wigan 38.9 :D and Rovers finishing on 42 :rover:

I know it's early days to ask this question..............but is it against a team we have lost to recently?

Yep Spurs are murdering them apparently but all the luck has gone with Blackpool, sounds like the reverse of when we played Spurs really.

3-0 now, I think that will take Blackpool above us.
