Steve Moss Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 We have to help ourselves, you can never count any team out of a game at the end of a season which is why we need to make sure we do our bit Amen, brother. If we survive it will have to be due to our own efforts.

modes98 Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 JHC how did Man U finish the match with ten players!!! Pathetic. 11? Evra was never going to be sent off as it wasn't a goal scoring opportunity. Vidic could have gone but "last man" isn't an actual rule and Ba was never catching the ball. He probably should have been booked when he gave away the penalty mind you. Either way West Ham lost so Everybody Happy!!!
DanLad Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 How did Reina not get sent off? For the pen? It will be said, no doubt, that the ball was moving away from the goal. I don't know if this is an actual rule, though, and is probably just something that they use to help the big guy and bully the little guy.
Hughesy Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 How did Reina not get sent off? Plays for a "big" club, not little old Blackburn....cant believe he had the cheek to go nuts saying he hadnt touched him
thenodrog Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Fulhams latest marquee signing.... http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/apr/03/fulham-blackpool-live-premier-league Kinell! Our lot have just been trumped in the celebrity stupidity stakes! They'll be mad as hell. I'm expecting a personal appearence to Ewood by Gary Glitter sometime soon.
Backroom Tom Posted April 3, 2011 Author Backroom Posted April 3, 2011 Beattie is a rover! Just set up fulham to go one up

We're not catching Fulham, not with their home record (however dubious), so we want Blackpool to lose.
chaddyrovers Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 good score for rovers so far. fulham have been good so far. Hughes is a very good manager. never thought Fulham would go down with Hughes in charge!
rebelmswar Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Fulhams latest marquee signing.... http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/apr/03/fulham-blackpool-live-premier-league Kinell! That would be a nice statue to put up next to Jack. Perhaps in pink marble.
Backroom Tom Posted April 3, 2011 Author Backroom Posted April 3, 2011 3-0 Fulham now, so that's a point gained over Blackpool and so far 3 goals better off
Backroom DE. Posted April 3, 2011 Backroom Posted April 3, 2011 Nice to see Fulham beating Blackpool pretty easily, but less satisfying when remembering we only got a point against them. Should have been a comfortable 3 points, that
Backroom Tom Posted April 3, 2011 Author Backroom Posted April 3, 2011 And possibly would have been with a competent ref
Tim Southampton Rover Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Well done Fulham and Hughesy (not the messageboard one!). Our clean sheet and Blackpool getting hammered is exactly what we needed.
modes98 Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 It's not? Funny 'cos I've seen plenty of Rovers players sent off for that exact reason. No that's denial of a goal scoring opportunity. Last man is an interpretation of that rule. However if the goal keeper has the ball in his hands it isn't a goal scoring opportunity. That said had it been a BRFC defender he would have been sent off IMO. Just like Nzonzi was sent off but had it been a Arsenal player they would have got away with it.
RovertheHill Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 I didn't realise that Sunderland were only a 4 points above us. I know it's very negative on here about our season but it's amazing that they've spent over £100 million in the last few years
Mattyblue Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Steve Bruce talks a good game and spends a lot of money, but what has he actually achieved as a manager?
Grabbi Graeme Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Oh dear, oh dear. How to win your fans over eh, did anyone see the Fulham fan dressed as Michael Jackson from Bo Selecta running down the steps in the stand during the match today.
RovertheHill Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 This could be a cricket score for city if Sunderland don't buck up
