Ricky Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Sunderland don't seem to get criticised for being poor at the moment. Surely with the money they've spent they should be the ones getting slated more than us. Just 4 points above us now. Don't think they'll get pulled into the relegation battle but they're not safe yet.
ada2020 Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 I wonder if Brucie will dedicate that one to Sam too, their recent form could yet see them sucked into the relegation battle.
adopted scouser Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Freddy Mercury was Indian. Born in Zanzibar. For the sake of my sanity please don't associate Venky's with the greatest frontman of all time
92er Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Born in Zanzibar. For the sake of my sanity please don't associate Venky's with the greatest frontman of all time According to Wikipedia, he was a Parsi and spent his early days in Zanzibar, and India.
Tris Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Born in Zanzibar. For the sake of my sanity please don't associate Venky's with the greatest frontman of all time Lemmy is on his way to Altrincham and he's going to kill you! Greatest frontman!?
Steve Moss Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1304403/The-2010-11-managerial-merry-round.html Not quite on topic, but good news is good news. Ince sacked.
Stevo Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Reports suggesting even more cut backs at Everton in the summer, I wonder if we could have a chance of bringing Moyes in if we stay up???
rebelmswar Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Rooney banned for 2 matches. How very unvicious.
Steve Moss Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Rooney banned for 2 matches. How very unvicious. Good. Too bad it wasn't the season.
RibbleValleyRover Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Man Utd's Wayne Rooney accepts FA charge but not ban Looks like he could get an additional one game ban if it's deemed as a frivolous appeal.
robbo_rovers Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Slightly off topic, but I can't seem to look at tickets for the Man City game in 3 weeks on the one rovers site. I have a history of buying tickets, i've been to about 10 this year. Is anyone else having this problem? Thanks

bazza Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Man Utd's Wayne Rooney accepts FA charge but not ban Looks like he could get an additional one game ban if it's deemed as a frivolous appeal. In your wildest dreams !! You have forgotten that there is one rule for them and another rule for us.
Sandiway Blue Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 don`t you just want to smack him! Scumbag Barton opens his gob again!
roverwhelmed Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Rooney fails to overturn his ban Can't say I'm disappointed. If you do something like that then it doesn't matter who you are, you should be punished.
Mattyblue Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 don`t you just want to smack him! Scumbag Barton opens his gob again! Makes a few good points though...
LeChuck Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 He does make good points. Take the out the "I'm the best" bit and he's pretty much spot on with his assessment.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted April 7, 2011 Moderation Lead Posted April 7, 2011 As much as I really dislike Joey Barton (mainly for his off-field misdemeanours), it's difficult to argue with his assessment. I just refuse to believe Gareth Barry is one of the strongest Centre Mids the country has....
deryck guyler's spoon Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Being reported down here on Sky News that Roy Keane is a candidate for the Melbourne Victory vacancy!
rebelmswar Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Being reported down here on Sky News that Roy Keane is a candidate for the Melbourne Victory vacancy! If it was Australian Rules you would be set.
gumboots Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 don`t you just want to smack him! No cos I'm only little and he's hard or at least acts it and he'd probably smack me back.
super_arran Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Rumours on the grape vine is that Robbie Fowler is set for the assistant managers job at Bury
ben_the_beast Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Rooney fails to overturn his ban Can't say I'm disappointed. If you do something like that then it doesn't matter who you are, you should be punished. Why is it though that when Rooney appeals a ban it is simply turned away but Rovers are threatened with an additional 1 game suspesion for N'Zonzi should we appeal unsuccessfully?
