Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Liverpool 1-0 City. Carroll, not a bad goal at all. Tevez off injured, hope he's still out when we play them!
Exiled_Rover Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 I think Wenger must be on some sort of bonus if he can stay @ Arsenal until they become debt free….he has clearly had his hands tied in the past and not signed key players when really needed. If they can continue their current model until debt free then it is a massive money making machine. Be interesting to see what Kronke has planned if anything – he owns 4 US teams in different sports too. He must be gutted he doesn't own the Denver Broncos. He'd be able to start building hotels on his monopoly board if he did.
adopted scouser Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Reds 3 up, City my arrrse. Carroll on a hat trick, looks like a better bloody buy than Torres
The Dart Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Liverpools 3rd is an obvious own goal to me. Off the defenders head. Yet no-one sees it. Claiming the defender got nowhere near it. I hope I'm right. Edit- It seems to have hit the defender then Carroll. Hard to say. I don't give a toss anyway. God I'm bored.
Backroom Tom Posted April 11, 2011 Author Backroom Posted April 11, 2011 Reds 3 up, City my arrrse. Carroll on a hat trick, looks like a better bloody buy than Torres Not for me, Torres will come good and he is twice the player Carrol is.
Exiled_Rover Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Not for me, Torres will come good and he is twice the player Carrol is. Twice the player? Not even close. Carroll has more to his game than Torres.
philipl Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 The pressure Liverpool applied before their second goal was stunning.
philipl Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 A Sam-managed Rovers would beat this City set-up.
imy9 Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Are you for real? Liverpool have been awesome, pace, power, passing and moving all over the park, Man City have rested key players and lost their best player in the first 20 odd minutes.
chaddyrovers Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 A Sam-managed Rovers would beat this City set-up. kean should be taking notes from how liverpool have played and we should play the same way! But will Kean play the same way tho? I agree that Big Sam set up would been City david silva and NDJ? Maninci fault than for not playing them but Liverpool have been great! City do not win if Tevez doesn't score mainly
Backroom Tom Posted April 11, 2011 Author Backroom Posted April 11, 2011 Balotelli, petulant tw@t Don't you mean. Balotelli, you amazing illegitimate Love that guy he's hilarious.
philipl Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Man City have rested key players and lost their best player in the first 20 odd minutes. Precisely- City are there for the taking tonight. Sam would put a Rovers team together to stretch and expose this City outfit. Good to hear the commentators favourably comparing Rovers under Dalglish with City today.
Backroom Tom Posted April 11, 2011 Author Backroom Posted April 11, 2011 Twice the player? Not even close. Carroll has more to his game than Torres. Obviously exagerating slightly but of the two Torres is superior IMO and it's not like the money really matters that much to Chelsea.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Balotelli subbed off, he was subbed on in the first place.
brian_gallagher85 Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 The only shock there is that he lasted until the 80th minute! City fans now showing their "class".
imy9 Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Precisely- City are there for the taking tonight. Sam would put a Rovers team together to stretch and expose this City outfit. Good to hear the commentators favourably comparing Rovers under Dalglish with City today. Liverpool have beaten City through movement, pace work rate, SAMs team could do the work rate and we have some pace but that movement... Wow, Sam's teams don't play that way, Company can handle long balls all day long but when Suarez is playing left midfield, then striker then left back, it became difficult for City. Most of liverpools players were popping up everywhere, very impressed.
adopted scouser Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Well done Liverpool, bossed it under king kenny.
Exiled_Rover Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Balotelli subbed off, he was subbed on in the first place. He was injured. If you want a scape goat look no further than Dzeko. He's done absolutely nothing in a City shirt.
roverwhelmed Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 City fans now showing their "class". What were they doing??
rebelmswar Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 City fans singing the very original "Liverpool is a ###### hole, I want to go home" is the most spectacular proof of self delusion I have ever seen.
roverwhelmed Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 I detest that song. Got to say, Anfield gives me goosebumps - I love it.
