Backroom Tom Posted April 11, 2011 Author Backroom Posted April 11, 2011 The only shock there is that he lasted until the 80th minute! City fans now showing their "class". Do you not rate him? His (brilliant) antics aside I genuinely think he's a great player.

Exiled_Rover Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 City fans singing the very original "Liverpool is a ###### hole, I want to go home" is the most spectacular proof of self delusion I have ever seen. Why's that? Manchester > Liverpool every day of the week.
Mattyblue Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 I detest that song. Got to say, Anfield gives me goosebumps - I love it. Your kidding me? Appalling atmodphere everytime I've been, with tourists aplenty.
rebelmswar Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Why's that? Manchester > Liverpool every day of the week. Hardly El Dorado though. Its kinda like saying an elephant is larger than a rhino.
roverwhelmed Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Your kidding me? Appalling atmodphere everytime I've been, with tourists aplenty. I've not been for ages, but I have definitely enjoyed the atmosphere there. I love it when they do 'you'll never walk alone' and it is probably a nostalgic throwback to our special day there.
Sverre Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Hardly El Dorado though. Its kinda like saying an elephant is larger than a rhino. I've been to Liverpool and Manchester, and in aesthetic terms I prefer Liverpool. But this obviously has nothing to do with the football clubs nor the stadiums

adopted scouser Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Nowt on Celtic's version... Nonsense. Anfield every time.
Mattyblue Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Nonsense. Anfield every time. Thought you were an adopted scouser?
adopted scouser Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Manchester now but lived there for 15 years mate, packed pubs for Sky super Sundays, can't find a table, nothing like it. Green hoops my arse, that anthem belongs at Anfield
Mattyblue Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 That's because the ground is full of out of towners, boozer is the only way to see it. Anfield gives Old Trafford a run for its money.
JAL Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 That's because the ground is full of out of towners, boozer is the only way to see it. Anfield gives Old Trafford a run for its money. Lets hope one day matty Ewood can also be on a par regardless of what the scale/ratio might be.
Darwen End Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Are you for real? Liverpool have been awesome, pace, power, passing and moving all over the park, Man City have rested key players and lost their best player in the first 20 odd minutes. Not bad for the crap Benitez left eh?
Backroom Tom Posted April 16, 2011 Author Backroom Posted April 16, 2011 Wigan and West Ham both winning within 5 minutes
Mr. E Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 wait. Why is Robbie Keane playing for West Ham? How is this possible when we are stuck with garbage like Santa Cruz and Roberts?
Backroom Tom Posted April 16, 2011 Author Backroom Posted April 16, 2011 Wow WBA beating Chelsea, Roy is a genious every other club he goes to in England
Miker Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Wigan winning... bad news for us. If they don't go down, then we will.
Hughesy Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Wow WBA beating Chelsea, Roy is a genious every other club he goes to in England Now losing 3-1.... As for Wigan winning....it also means Blackpool are losing Miker.....they are hitting bad form at the wrong time
Backroom Tom Posted April 16, 2011 Author Backroom Posted April 16, 2011 I think Blackpool will be going dowm, we just need a win ASAP to stop us joining them, the problem is other teams at the bottom are winning games now and then and we haven't won in 10 I think it is. I said it before but 4 points from, today, City and Bolton puts us just about there as I feel we will pick up a point in the last 3 games but I wouldn't want to need a win from any of those 3.

May be to rovers advantage if Bolton get to the FA Cup final - there minds may be on that when they play rovers.
Backroom DE. Posted April 16, 2011 Backroom Posted April 16, 2011 I think Blackpool and Wolves are all but down. The final position will be one of us, WIgan and West Ham. Based on current form we're going to be the ones taking the drop. I'd love nothing more than for it to be West Ham, and if we gift them a lifeline to stay in the league it'll be twice as sickening
Stuart Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Why in earth is the FA Cup semi final only being shown on ESPN??? Disgusting. The competition is going to the dogs.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 If Bolton play like this against us, we'd thrash 'em, even in current form.
