Looks like the nerves have well and truly gotten to Bolton. Playing Stoke-style hoofball whilst Stoke are passing the ball about and looking far more assured. Coyle will be livid at that first half performance, they're bottling it big time.

Stoke under Pulis and Rovers under Sam were often seen as teams with similar styles.

Sam took us to one semi-final and that could easily have been us at Wembley today...............

And no, we won't beat Bolton.

I work with a couple of Bolton fans and they were extremely confident that they would beat Stoke. Ooooopppppsssss!

Me too - 11 of them where going today, the missus brother is there today too. And I work in Bolton....oh happy days!!

Amazing end to the Arsenal v Liverpool game. Two penalties in the 95th and 100th minute (there was 8 minutes of injury time)

Wenger the sour faced sod wouldn't shake Kenny's hand at end.

Just when you think Arsenal have defined choking they go ahead and reinvent the wheel. I have to say this must be the low point of Wenger's failed project. His team couldn't score for toffee. They were gifted a penalty and then did everything they possibly could to spurn the three points. Shocking defending and a crazy challenge from Eboue will consign them to yet another season of promising success tomorrow while United take the title by default. Baffling.

For me liverpools shouldn't have been a penalty, harsh for me. By the book it is though I suppose.

I imagine Dalglish will get a fine now due to the Rooney thing.

Recently read a fairly detailed article on Liverpool's new owners - early days still, and of course everyone is different, however they appear to be taking a logical/sensible approach to owning Liverpool. Given their background they obviously have an understanding of sport which clearly helps.

They have opened up the communications lines to fans and have stressed a patient approach is best for the club (i.e. it will take time to improve the club on/off the pitch).

What a contrast to the fools we have in charge.

Perhaps our owners will learn....only time will tell.

IF we stay up, this is the key summer for me - what will they do in terms of spend, promoting us, new sponsors, new manager, new chairman etc

Everyone makes mistakes, let's hope Venky's one(s) are not terminal.

Agreed.

One thing about Indian business people is the 'show' that they put on....they will NOT want to fail that is for sure.

So hopefully we can stay up, get the business in order and start to improve our set-up & playing squad. (Glass half full today - lol)
