Bolton dropped like a stone at the end, a stunningly bad end to the season that must have cost them about £5million in terms of league place prize money. For a club like Bolton thats a lot of revenue to lose.

anchelotti though has proved he can win the champs league as a manager.. and cant believe he's been sacked. he was the 1st manager in their history to win the double and 12 months later he's off.

id wonder who would take the job, working under abramovic. but then again, its football and egos and money comes into it,,, and theyd get a decent payoff even if they failed.

I always understood players could be signed after July 1st which is when players contracts normally run to.

Of course there's nothing stopping wheels being put in motion and deals being done in principle before then.
