Stuart Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Sunderland 1 up against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Nedum Onuoha has just made Chelsea's defence look very silly.

LeChuck Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Onuoha and Welbeck have been brilliant. If Sunderland don't fancy making their signings permanent they'd be excellent investments for our new owners...
brfcshabba Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 0-0 with 10 men, good result In all serious would have been interesting to see if Darren Bent had played
Mr. E Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 please someone tell me that this is a joke. What the hell.
chaddyrovers Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 sunderland was really excellent and deserve to win, it prove that any team can beat any other team in the PL!!! well done sunderland and great finish from Gyan. Wish we had signed him instead of them! Maybe Cheslea are missing Ray Wilkins already???

Wish we had signed him instead of them! Maybe Cheslea are missing Ray Wilkins already??? There are about 13 million reasons why we didn't, but you are right - anyone can beat anyone and those who said 4-4-2 was obsolete can think again!!

Miker Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 I would love to have players like Gyan, Bent, Welbeck and Onuoha at Rovers... unfortunately, we have no money to spend. I think Sunderland may have finally got themselves the right players to be a serious team and not just a relegation battler.
67splitscreen Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Sunderland certainly seem to have got the better out of the two Man U loans, Welbeck/Diouf
philipl Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Chelsea have not been playing well for a while now- they were very lucky at Ewood.
thenodrog Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Chelsea have not been playing well for a while now- they were very lucky at Ewood. Bloody big slapped arse face Jason Roberts! You've got me going again Gunner! If he'd stuck that in I'd have some sympathy. As it stands his goal against Wigan came off his shin and the one at St James's followed the worst attempt to trap a ball that I have seen at top level.

thenodrog Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 **censored** You'll be in bother for that BFS. The mods don't allow circumventing the swear filter. See you in a fortnight wherupon you can tell me which bit of my post you see as inaccurate.
Smithy Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 At the end of the day I see plenty of people circumventing the swear filter in a variety of ways. I also see a significant number of people committing what I see as far worse crimes than backwards writing. Racism, personal insults, trolling and generally not making a pertinent contribution and just posting crap. I cannot abide one rule for one group and one rule for another. Its clearly evident to me certain members have a licence to do what they want, when they want it without fear of recrimination. I fully realise that the posting rights I have one my final account will now be removed and I'm sure that Majiball will get a longer ban, but I'm not the only one who feels this way given the PM's I have received. PS before I depart on my long enforced holiday, you may want to pay heed to Philips words and approach this new episode with some scepticism.
Ricky Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 I see know reason why you would be banned for those comments Smithy. That's your opinion and you're obviously welcome to it. I would say I try to take each post on its merits when making a Modding decision. I get some right and I obviously get some wrong.
G Somerset Rover Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Sunderland certainly seem to have got the better out of the two Man U loans, Welbeck/Diouf I said this at the time, but was assured by posters on here that we'd got the better of the two.. .

thenodrog Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 I think you have a big poster bias! Correct. I'm with you all the way American. I'm a big bloke and I've been banned many times, warned plenty and for those that can rem yellow and red carded frequently. I think it's a bias too. Any other big blokes agree? Are we being persecuted more than the vertically challenged amongst us? Maybe we can have a poll.
gumboots Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Correct. I'm with you all the way American. Are we being persecuted more than the vertically challenged amongst us? Maybe we can have a poll. I've never been banned or warned but then I am only 5ft 5. could what you say be true and there is a bias against big posters? Or are the mods sexist and don't ban women? Or is it that I am always careful what I say and how I say it?

Hughesy Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Takeover cash permitting....the sort of players we should be monitoring closely Stoke manager Tony Pulis wants to take Aston Villa midfielder Stephen Ireland on loan in January - and save him from his Villa Park nightmare. SouthAussieRover Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Everyone knows you're only 5ft 2in Gordon. Small man, big noise syndrome. I thought it had something to do with his hair colour. Or is it the number of toilets he has?

Think he might cost more than the £5 Million you might have also he is a decent footballer so won't enjoy playing for corners and throw ins....
