67splitscreen Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I am afraid the real reason for Hughton's sacking might become all too painfully clear for Rovers supporters. I hope you are not intimating what I'm thinking, as in new money? coming their way, Syed ????
S15 Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 The guy who said he had loads of money but wouldn't show it anyone? Syed is made for the Newcy Browns.
brian_gallagher85 Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Sams going to be named Man of the Year??
beerwins Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I am afraid the real reason for Hughton's sacking might become all too painfully clear for Rovers supporters. Hughes not happy at Fulham? ?
Craigman Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I am afraid the real reason for Hughton's sacking might become all too painfully clear for Rovers supporters. Ashley trying to decide the team ?
John Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I am afraid the real reason for Hughton's sacking might become all too painfully clear for Rovers supporters. The owner (Ashley) did not rate the manager (Hughton)?
jim mk2 Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I am afraid the real reason for Hughton's sacking might become all too painfully clear for Rovers supporters. I have heard the same information too - Sam Allardyce is returning to Newcastle.
dave birch Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I am afraid the real reason for Hughton's sacking might become all too painfully clear for Rovers supporters. That Sam is history...
Hughesy Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Why will it become painfully clear Philip?! Because we all know Sam wont be taking the job so it doesnt affect us!
John Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Oddschecker list for next Newcastle managers In terms of realistic contenders not that great list....

beerwins Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Ian holloway would be my guess, all out attacking football to please the fans, sounds about right to me.
BuckyRover Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Didnr they say they were going for someone who won't need compensation (unemployed)?
beerwins Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Didnr they say they were going for someone who won't need compensation (unemployed)? Ahh yes, did'nt think of that, still it is Newcastle so anything's a possibility.
Commondore Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I am afraid the real reason for Hughton's sacking might become all too painfully clear for Rovers supporters. If you're implying what I think you're implying, it wouldn't happen in a million years. This sacking looks stranger by the minute. I was convinced Newcastle had some big name successor on standby, but surely there's been too long now. Ashley never wanted Hughton as manager in the first place, maybe he just waited for the slightest of opportunities to get rid of him?
joey_big_nose Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I have heard the same information too - Sam Allardyce is returning to Newcastle. whoah. No way?! There would be mass revolt on Tyneside if that happened. Just can't see it.
Fife Rover Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 very strange this, because a win in their next game would see them jump up the table again. its so tight this season, that any team could get into Europe and there is no guarantee of staying up either. to change manager now, is just stupid. You have just described the Geordies perfectly there Iceman.
chris Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I hope they appoint Shearer. I don't think they can after their "need experience" comment
