Mr. E Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 I have to say, the Premiership is a bit funny. You have the best stadiums in the world, yet some snow falls and everything gets canceled. Other countries continue on in mountains of snow. Granted, what's played doesn't really resemble football, but I really doubt Premiership stadiums don't have the means at least to get a match going.

Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 People need to remember that other countries get heavy snow often. The UK doesnt, especially further south you go.
Amo Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 People need to remember that other countries get heavy snow often. The UK doesnt, especially further south you go. It's not like we haven't seen it coming.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 We didn't last week in the sunny South. We're used to a mediterranean climate all year round
John Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Surely not... Mark Hughes faces the sack if he is dealt a Hammer blow on Boxing Day
Amo Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Surely not... Mark Hughes faces the sack if he is dealt a Hammer blow on Boxing Day Opportunity knocks.
Bobby G Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Cant see it. Neither him getting sacked nor him coming back to Rovers.
John Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 After Man City, doubt Sparky would settle for an owner interferring in the football side of things.
nicko Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Sparky would not settle for an owner interferring in the football side of things for a start. You forgot to put a smiley in there... What about all of those Man City players he knew nothing about. Come on, there's another club that had people throwing in players from all angles.
Bobby G Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Yes, like you said Coyle may at a bigger club. Man City was a once in a lifetime opportunity in terms of chance for success. Most managers will accept that kind of interference in those circumstances.
Hughesy Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 You forgot to put a smiley in there... What about all of those Man City players he knew nothing about. Come on, there's another club that had people throwing in players from all angles. Is it Sparky then?? 25/1 currently
67splitscreen Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Guy Assulin signed for City on the 13th. 0-2 Everton the voodoo magic of Moyes.
adopted scouser Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 come on the toffees, rovers going down
Exiled_Rover Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 come on the toffees, rovers going down What have Everton's fortunes got anything to do with us? Oh and (Please don't use that word again) Everton. Nasty little club.
Tooogs Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 I hate City. Give me Everton any day of the week.
47er Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 If Hughes is available and we need a manager but don't sign him, I will give up.
philipl Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 Lord_Sugar Lord Sugar by danroan David Bernstein appointed Chairman of FA . Perfect for the F.A. he never offends anyone, and allegedly never makes a decision!!
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 We had a good opportunity after 2010 World Cup to reform the FA. We then had a perfect opportunity after the 2018 World Cup fiasco. Now, going by what I have read in various articles, we have another chairman who won't give the FA the shake up it needs.
Commondore Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 Lord_Sugar Lord Sugar by danroan David Bernstein appointed Chairman of FA . Perfect for the F.A. he never offends anyone, and allegedly never makes a decision!! After Sugar's years as owner of Tottenham, I'm surprised anyone takes his football opinions seriously. Clown.
Tom 1 Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 Sidwell off to West Ham. Hopefully over the course of the next two transfer windows Stephen Ireland, John Carew, Habib Beye, Richard Dunne, Curtis Davies, and maybe Warnock will soon follow.

philipl Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 Has Warnock not been a success then? Time for a certain agent to earn another fee?
