imy9 Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 It's all about what we do, our destiny is in our own hands.
savage8 Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 What's the beef between Hughes and Pulis about? Hate that Pulis, he really winds me up. He reminds me of the Steve Coogan character David Daft when he wears that cap !
brian_gallagher85 Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Fergie absolutely fumming - loving it Fantastic day!

It's all started after the league cup game earlier on in the season. pulis refused to shake hughes hand bit rich considering he said this - http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_5744470,00.html

oozy Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 To think we have the same number of points away from home as Manure. All these draws away from home may well (hopefully) be the undoing of them come the end of the season.
ffan Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Good win for your boys today, as long as we are safe I hope your lot are as well. Feeling is mutual mate. Must admit, I was shocked to see Kean get the job but good luck to him and to Rovers.
tony gale's mic Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Blackpool are proving that you can play attractive football and win in this league, love Olly, they deserve massive plaudits. Oh, plenty of teams have played attractive football on a budget for a season and done well in this league. It's the second season where there's been problems...
RevidgeBlue Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Blackpool - unbelievable. Rode their luck by the sounds of it, but they're 6 points and a game in hand behind Chelsea. Also, they've played only 6 home games and 13 away games. Agreed. I can't see how if you were a player you could fail to be inspired by Holloway. It's not always clear whether he's bordering on the edges of genius or being two loaves short of a full bread basket but he certainly makes you sit up and take notice and it certainly appears to be working. All power to him - and Blackpool on their wage budget.
LeChuck Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Agreed. I can't see how if you were a player you could fail to be inspired by Holloway. All power to him - and Blackpool on their wage budget. Holloway is a very intelligent guy, I think his West Country accent masks that fact. He'd still be my first choice as our long term manager. I think he'd take it too, in the same way Coyle left Burnley last season.
blue/white Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Forget sparky boys, reprises rarely work out for either party!
Roberto Policano Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Still reckon City are going to win the league,If they do sign Dzeko should just about secure it. Roman doing things on the cheap & signing overated @#/? like Ramires just making it easier for City. Reckon City will hold off United down the closing straight.
Hughesy Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 He'd still be my first choice as our long term manager. I think he'd take it too, in the same way Coyle left Burnley last season. Agreed...wait till summer...hopefully after we have added some quality to our squad, and then tempt him with probably 3 times the wages, a better squad, bigger club & hopefully much more to spend.
Exiled_Rover Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Agreed. I can't see how if you were a player you could fail to be inspired by Holloway. All power to him - and Blackpool on their wage budget. Really? Half of his interviews are cringeworthy. I'm sure there are plenty of players that would be switched off by him.

He'd still be my first choice as our long term manager. I think he'd take it too, in the same way Coyle left Burnley last season. Like Burnley I think they'd be screwed if he did decide to leave.
philipl Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 German media are reporting that City have won the race for Dzeko. If Man U get Diarra from Real Madrid for £12m, the two Manchester clubs will be throwing down the gauntlet to the London triumvirate in this window. Other than that, even the gossip columns are remarkably quiet given the window opens just three days from now.

Plastic Head Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 All's not good at Baddison Park. Moan moan moan Grumble grumble grumble
John Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Stoke sign Pennant. Skysports.com understands Aston Vill are in talks to sign French midfielder Gueida Fofana after agreeing a deal with Le Havre
67splitscreen Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 The player Nicko mentioned that Villa are after is Gueida Fofana instead of Romue, 1m euro on his way according to Goal.com
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Wolves have had a great first half against Liverpool. I know it isn't hard at the moment but Wolves are really making Liverpool look utter @#/?.
Backroom DE. Posted December 29, 2010 Backroom Posted December 29, 2010 Still can't believe how good we made Liverpool look... I've rarely been more furious than after the first half against Liverpool this season, we were beyond awful.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Consistency has been the most frustrating thing this season. We go to Liverpool, play awful and lose. We play Wolves at home and thump them 3-0. Wolves go to Anfield and are 1-0 up.
Backroom DE. Posted December 29, 2010 Backroom Posted December 29, 2010 Liverpool are shocking... can't see Roy staying there much longer. The fans never really wanted him and sound like they've completely turned on him. Wonder what the odds are on Rafa coming back...?
