imy9 Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 The worst Liverpool side i can recall, no passion, skill, handwork, wolves are playing with them.

Exiled_Rover Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Fat Sam to Anfield. He'd win the double every year.
imy9 Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Well he is one of the top 6 managers in the country he should be a shoe in.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 If Liverpool don't win this then I really wouldn't be surprised if Roy wasn't manager by the end of 2010. King Kenny back to Anfield??
Backroom DE. Posted December 29, 2010 Backroom Posted December 29, 2010 Say what you want about our fans... Liverpool's are in full-blown mutiny at the moment... Booed Ngog & Merieles off, cheered Konchesky off the pitch (not in a good way), singing for Rafa () and Dalglish, I'm sure they were just chanting for the ref to send Johnson off
incy wincy little spider Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 I've seen Dzeko play last year v Hannover. He was amazing, scored 3 good goals - one amazing. He reminded me of a younger Shearer. Whenever the ball went near him he always won it and you expected a goal from him from every corner. Hannover are the suprise team at the moment, looking good for a place in Europe next season (almost relegated last season). Their star player is Ya Konan. A bit excentric with his play but scores loads. Big, strong, quick. Think he would suit the english game pretty well. EDIT: Just checked on wiki and says hes 'only' 1.74! He looked a lot bigger then that and wins too many headers v defenders for someone that small.

The Johnson chant was tongue in cheek by Wolves I think, saying 'if that was us, you'd send him off'... could have been Liverpool saying 'we'd send him off' though.

cn174 Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Watched the Bolton game. They played pretty well but didn't get the result. Good result for Wigan too. Latics had N'Zogbia sent off and by all accounts deserved it, so they'll miss him. Liverpool is just funny. How did we let these beat us? Should be a good MOTD anyway!
benhben Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Wouldn't be a bad idea to put a bet on Roy getting sacked tonight or tomorrow. Liverpool look less than average and have no fight in them. Totally lackluster. Torres looks worse than Benjani at the moment.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Torres looks worse than Benjani at the moment. Maybe we should be nice neighbours and offer Benjani in a swap deal. I hope Wolves hang on. I cannot wait to hear the booing once the final whistle goes. I'm actually really excited by the possibility of the scousers going mental.
Valois Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Massive result for Chelsea tonight, typical Arsenal result this year. Brilliant against Chelsea, and then go and draw at Wigan. Liverpool are awful, Hodgsons days are number me thinks

Well given how Sam has assumed messianic proportions for some round these parts it may be worth them putting their money where their mouths are and putting a bet on Sam being the next Liverpool manager
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Unbelievable result for Wolves. They've been brilliant from start to finish. Good bye Roy.
Backroom DE. Posted December 29, 2010 Backroom Posted December 29, 2010 Great result and performance from Wolves, but Liverpool were turgid. I see no option but for Roy to go.
American Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Nice for Wolves fans, especially after the pre-game chatter on Sky totally not giving them a chance.
Valois Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 West Ham bottom of the league, I really hope they go down this year. I've hated them ever since the season Tevez kept them up, but shouldnt have even been playing for them. They seem to think there a big club down there. Scotty Parker is carrying the whole team on his back, I would love him at rovers, quality player, who gives 100% every game. As for the other teams to go down, would love to see Wigan out of the PL, and either Villa or Everton would be brilliant. Likely to be Wolves, Wigan and West Ham though. The 3 W's.
imy9 Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 So are the premier going to charge arsenal for fielding a weakened side? Eight changes from previous game no injuries, or is it only the smaller teams they target?
Ricky Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 To be fair nobody would have given them a chance so you can't blame sky. Played 8 away, lost 7 and drawn 1.
Valois Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Nice for Wolves fans, especially after the pre-game chatter on Sky totally not giving them a chance. Was nice to see John Barnes as a pundit though, if only for his accent, was hoping he might give us a rendition of the Anfield rap though at half time.

philipl Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 There have been some cracking results for all the teams in the last 5 over Christmas- WHam picked up 5 points from 3 and still find themselves bottom! Villa must be feeling nervous down there on 20 points and GD of -14. Just 3 points cover 11th to 18th.

Whats the betting our game is last and we get 2 minutes coverage, even though it was end to end stuff with 4 goals, 2 sending offs, some cracking saves from Bunn, header onto the Bar, Diouf stripping down to his pants. In fact scrap showing the other games entirely and dedicate the whole programme to our game.

I mean we are only 4 points behind Bolton, and everyone is harping on what a great season they are having, if only we could have held out for a win against West Ham and got a result against Stoke. I wonder if we would be getting the same praise as Notlob have been getting. I think is set to be the best PL season yet, the race for the title should go right down to the wire with possibly 4 teams involved, and as for relegation, who knows, could be at least 6 or 7 involved this season.
