SamTheShrew Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Chris Brunt is a cracking player. He would be awesome at Rovers, shame

Hughesy Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Bolton name only 4 subs at Liverpool rather than 7!!
JAL Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Bolton name only 4 subs at Liverpool rather than 7!! You can only use 3 so why not makes sense to me.
gumboots Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 You can only use 3 so why not makes sense to me. Yes but suppose you get 2 defenders injured and you've only named one or whatever. It makes sense to have 7 if you're allowed and give yourself the choice.
BRFC1995 Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Torres goal is just ridiculous...telepathic with gerrard, gerrards ball through pin point half volley and torres delicate volley so smooth. those 2 look so out of place with the durge they play alongside.

Roberts and Andrews must feel the same for us
Backroom Tom Posted January 1, 2011 Author Backroom Posted January 1, 2011 West Ham out the relegation zone, always said they were in a false position
gumboots Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 West Ham out the relegation zone, always said they were in a false position Pity they couldn't stay there though. If we end up going down, I'd feel much happier if we could take West Ham with us
robbo_rovers Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Attendance at Anfield today: 35,400. Nearly 10,000 under capacity. Still the best fans in the world though.
Ossydave Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Attendance at Anfield today: 35,400. Nearly 10,000 under capacity. Still the best fans in the world though. Not sure how many they've sold for our place but it's not sold out yet.....Can see quite a few empty seats. I hate them almost as much as Burnley.
beerwins Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Oops sorry I am still wondering why you thought Moyes had resigned Also I really hope someone buys Scott Parker in the window, I know we wont have that kind of dough but if he goes than they will go back into the mixer.
Mattyblue Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Didn't take long for the home and away support to drop off for LFC. I suppose the glory hunting masses don't take too well to the ups and downs of being a football fan.
Backroom Tom Posted January 2, 2011 Author Backroom Posted January 2, 2011 Villa 2-1 up at Chelsea the game is hilarious though, villa on seven yellows everyone just seems to have forgot how to tackle.
Backroom DE. Posted January 2, 2011 Backroom Posted January 2, 2011 It will be very interesting to see if Spurs can keep up their league form ... if so, they have a great chance of dislodging Chelsea from the top four. Wonder how long it'd take Abramovich to sell if Chelski were no longer in the Champions League?
John Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Big result for Villa if they can hang on to win - of course, we play Chelsea soon, what's the likilihood they return to form when we play them.
Backroom DE. Posted January 2, 2011 Backroom Posted January 2, 2011 Chelsea lucky they're playing Villa really... they've managed to bottle it in the same way they did against Utd earlier in the season. No spine in the Villa team at all. Edit: Maybe a little more resilience than I gave them credit for
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Great game that, Lee Mason is crap though.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Cracking end to the game. The best thing about the game is knowing that John Terry has had his smirk wiped off his face.
Bobby G Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Hahahahaha What an ending. I think Villa press so much during the match that the players are dead tired in the last 10-15 minutes. That cost them against United and almost did (well they lost the win) today.

That cost them against United and almost did (well they lost the win) today. I think the reason we lost the win was because none of our players could go in for a challenge through fear of being sent off with the most card happy ref i've seen all season! Newcastle win now please, want Wigan to go down.
