Yes but suppose you get 2 defenders injured and you've only named one or whatever. It makes sense to have 7 if you're allowed and give yourself the choice.

Didn't take long for the home and away support to drop off for LFC.

I think Villa press so much during the match that the players are dead tired in the last 10-15 minutes. That cost them against United and almost did (well they lost the win) today.

I think the reason we lost the win was because none of our players could go in for a challenge through fear of being sent off with the most card happy ref i've seen all season!
