Backroom DE. Posted January 2, 2011 Backroom Posted January 2, 2011 So what are we Hoping for Wigan win? Draw I'd say. Keeps Newcastle and Wigan at a healthy distance.

Backroom Tom Posted January 2, 2011 Author Backroom Posted January 2, 2011 I think the reason we lost the win was because none of our players could go in for a challenge through fear of being sent off with the most card happy ref i've seen all season! Newcastle win now please, want Wigan to go down. In fairness most of them were nailed on yellows, Clarke could have gone for 2 yellow card tackles in 5 seconds as well but the ref let him off. What was Essien thinking with that tackle?
Tom 1 Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 In fairness most of them were nailed on yellows, Clarke could have gone for 2 yellow card tackles in 5 seconds as well but the ref let him off. What was Essien thinking with that tackle? Chelsea had plenty of fouls themselves, funnily enough their yellows weren't so forthcoming. I'd say only Clarke and Petrov were nailed on yellows, think Heskeys, Agbonlahors were pretty pathetic! Nice to see Terry's smug grin wiped off his face though.
Bobby G Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Tom, have you given away a lot of points in the last 10 minutes of matches? We have the worst record in coming back from 1-0 down. Worst record in the league.
Tom 1 Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Tom, have you given away a lot of points in the last 10 minutes of matches? We have the worst record in coming back from 1-0 down. Worst record in the league. Unfortunately the damage is normally done by the last ten minutes with us. This is the first time we've gotten any points this season having conceded the first goal.
alexanders Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Joey Barton. What a player. Too bad he is such a c*** Wigan still deep in it. Newcastle such a boring team to watch now thanks to Pardew. 86 - 14 possession to wigan - newcastle all defense for the second half.
John Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Newcastle boss Alan Pardew reveals Beckham interest Alan Pardew has hinted that Newcastle could be set to raid Tottenham for David Bentley and Robbie Keane.
Backroom Tom Posted January 4, 2011 Author Backroom Posted January 4, 2011 Fulham and Birmingham winning, bad night for us so far.
beerwins Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Scott Carson, taking WBA down. Good, that's settled then, the three W's to go down.
philipl Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 There are 3 Ws already in the welegation zone. Fulham go 2 up so they should dump WBA in deep trouble- could do with Blackpool-Brum being a draw.
Backroom Tom Posted January 4, 2011 Author Backroom Posted January 4, 2011 Fulham now 3 up and West Brom look like a team who are going down, Carson is awful and they can't defend corners, is that 5 goals from corners in 3 games?
beerwins Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Blackpool defending went on holiday to allow Brum the lead in a very good match.
slough_rover Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Roy and Carlo both look like they could be leaving with tonights performances
RibbleValleyRover Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Roy and Carlo both look like they could be leaving with tonights performances Also West Ham getting thrashed 5-0 might put more pressure on Avram Grant.
ChesterRover Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 What odds on Carlo, Woy and Gerard all getting potted before January is out!
brian_gallagher85 Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Wayne Hennesseys save tonight was outstanding.
mickbrown Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Also West Ham getting thrashed 5-0 might put more pressure on Avram Grant. I bloody hope so.
Backroom Tom Posted January 5, 2011 Author Backroom Posted January 5, 2011 Big Sam for you Mick, would many want / accept him and his brand of football? He'd keep you up no doubt. I see Sam as a lifeboat option, great at keeping teams up but not the man to press forward IMO.

Backroom DE. Posted January 6, 2011 Backroom Posted January 6, 2011 Not really premiership news but for those who care, Roy Keane finally axed at Ipswich. BFS to Town? Would make my life a bit more interesting
Hughesy Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Burnley have approached Norwich for Lambert - but have been knocked back so far.
