I bloody hope so.

What is Grant actually doing wrong? I'm not out to wind you up, it's just an honest question about the current situation at West Ham. Does he pick the wrong team? Use the wrong tactics? Has he lost the dressing room? Failed to motivate the more content and lazy players?

Tony Cottee was of the opinion that he has no charisma and players would find it very hard to play for him. He identified the recent improvement in form as being the result of the appointment Wally Downes. He expects them now to revert to type (i.e. rubbish)

They should get Brian Laws in, he's good at sending Claret & Blues down, they deserve each other, especially with their owners, they make my stomach turn.

Roy sacked before weekend game?

If you were Liverpool's board, surely you would keep him on for the next 2 games, let's be honest, they will get pasted and a new guy would not welcome those fixtures as a start to their campaign, I hope they make a massive schoolboy error with this farce, I'd quite enjoy seeing them in the relegation dog fight, I really don't see any of their current players having the danglers required for that.

His signings have been poor. We spent £9 Million on Reid and Barrera and both have been very disappointing. I don't think the squad is that bad but every player bar Noble and Parker seem to be under performing.

He also keeps changing his formation and changing his team every week.

He hasn't been helped by the owners but he just seems out of his depth.

I don't think your in any position to point any fingers about owners.

Good signing that ffan. Pleased to see you back after you sloped off after your ridiculous slating of our team after Dembele got injured against Stoke. Still not quite sure why you felt the need to stick the boot into rovers after a game against Stoke but hey ho.

I would have liked Sidwell and Bentley. Would have solved our midfield problem in an instant.

I personally don't think miller will make much difference to birminghams poor front line.

There were a lot of rumours out that the Liverpool bosses had their eyes on a manager but he wouldn't be available until the end of the season. I've also heard that Owen Coyle is who the owners want.

If Roy is sacked soon, I believe that Dalglish and/or Keegan are favourites to step in until the end of the season before Coyle is appointed.

Personally, I think that would be a great move for Coyle and for Liverpool.

It will be interesting to see if King Kenny still has the magic touch.

He must think he can pull out a result against United. Otherwise they would have postponed the change until Monday.

Getting thumped by their most bitter rivals will set him off very much on the wrong foot.

Don't think that it is Hodgson fault at liverpool. The players just didn't seem to wanted to play for him. The players should wanted to play for liverpool and do well whoever the manager. Shouldn't matter who the manager is!

Anyway, good luck to Kenny and hope you beat Man Utd on Sunday.

My thoughts exactly. Too many big heads in that dressing room that didn't see why they should be taking orders from some 60+ ex-Fulham manager. I was never Hodgson's biggest fan but I've a lot of sympathy for him here.

By the way, do the Liverpool supporters rejoicing at King Kenny's return remember what happened the last time he was hauled in to 'rescue' a season at the halfway point?

King Kenny returning to Liverpool has already lifted the entire club.

The fans are now fully behind the team, the players have been given a boost by seeing a world legend in the dressing room.

How can the players not be inspired to play for him?

All Kenny has to do is to show them all his trophies and medals and tell them that if they want to win as many as he did as a player then they should get behind him.

Call me crazy but I can see Liverpool going on a hell of a run this 2nd half of a season. Obviously they won't win the league but they will be challenging for a European spot.
