Easier to get to Wrexham from Vancouver I understand ;)

Yeah, he has joked about that on his twitter account.

On another note, Connor Wickham looks class for Ipswich. Have had good reports about him from an Ipswich fan at work, but never seen him play. One for the future me thinks.

1-1 at half time. Hope that will be the score at FT as well, but would be quite funny if Liverpool lose this one as well. King Kenny off to a worse start than Kean? A part of the SEM/Kentaro ploy to overtake all dealings in PL this season perhaps?

Hope it stays like this.

The romantic in me could want Blackpool to win just because it'd be amazing for Holloway and he makes me laugh. :)

Equally, King Kenny, close to the old heart and I just want him to succeed to shut all the Mancs up (specifically those on my facebook page)

The Rovers :rover: in me just wants them to draw - so I'll go with that :D

Edit - 2-1 now to Blackpool!

Excellent result for Blackpool - they well deserved their win too. Towards the end Blackpool were first to every ball, Torres was losing his rag whilst Blackpool just passed the ball around them.

Brilliant!

How bad are Liverpool ?

Blackpools win was more comfortable than ours, the Blackpool goalie only had one decent long range shot that could have had goal written on it to make in during whole of the second half.

Big problems for Liverpool.

No chance will Blackpool want to sell Adam after a famous victory

I get that feeling too, in fact I did before the match. Holloway is a stubborn bugger and the chairman will not easily be swayed.

I dont think Adam will be going anywhere in this window unless he really wants to.

Looked like Adam was playing for a transfer if you ask me. Was poor until it looked like he got injured. In my imagination he told the physio: Tell Holloway I'll only play to my potential if he'll let me go to Rovers :P After that he bossed the midfield. Great game and well deserved win for Blackpool.

went on liverpool forum expecting unrestrained abuse to be written aimed at they're garbage players...seems only a very, very small amount of people with eyes contribute to said forum anyone hogson signed is fair game for slating but anyone benitez signed (babel, lucas,n'gog, jovanovic, skirtl)and benitez himself are sacrosanct and anyone critisising is rounded on and berated...weird bunch the fact they seem to rate Lucas highly is eye-opening and bewildering

I'm talking current form now, not reputations. World class players are the players that are capable of winning games on their own. When did any of those three you name last do that ? Kuyt's a good workhorse, but no more than that. Lucas blows hot and cold ,decent one week crap the next. Johnson was good until he started believing his own bull ######. Babel- see Lucas. Joe Cole's been poor for a year or two, bad signing. Agger, not bad, steady player. Ngog, well if he signing for Rovers I'd be gutted- a rich mans Soloman Kalou.

Well write them off if you like but whether it is with Liverpool or not all of those players will continue their careers at the top of the game in my opinion.

It's mainly a psycological, fitness and team spirit issue. Take them out of a team in a vicious cycle - which is where Liverpool are now - put them in a well balanced and stable squad and support them, and you are away. Its what we have done for a number of players in recent years- RSC, Bellamy, Tugay, Freidal etc.

If Kenny fancies selling Lucas for a bargain basement price then I would hope Rovers would have a look. A billion times better than anything we have. But seeing as he is a current Brazilian first XI international we might struggle to land him...

Watching the second half I'd say Lucas is one of the very few players on show tonight that Liverpool should keep in fact I'd say just him and the goalie after tonight.

Juventus have been told Agger is no longer on the market,so they are signing Andrea Barzagli instead.

Obviously Hodgson & Agger did not see eye to eye.

Barcelona want Torres in the Summer,so things are just going to get worse for Liverpool.

That Comolli fella isn't highly repected across Europe either, cannot see him being much kop.

You didn't need to be a Rocket Scientist to see that Bale & Modric were going to be top players.

Surely the real skill of the Director of Football is to find the real unknowns, and turn them into gems?.

I'm not even sure why Liverpool's new owners bought the club.I cannot see them making any money. The team needs £100 million spending on it,and thats just for starters.

They can raise about 50-60 million just from Torres and Reina WHEN they leave in June.

Not to be telling someone how to do their job Roberto, but I think you need to look more into the history of the Boston Red Sox & the cable television industry in the New England section of the USA. They might not make money, especially in the early years, but in the long run they certainly won't lose it either. For the most part these people have shown that they've their s**t together, if you know what I mean. Years of fighting the financially mighty New York Yankees in an uncapped sport (no wage limits, just a tax set so high that few clubs (the Sox are one) ever approach it) have weaned theses people in preparation for European football. It will interesting to see what they do.
