cn174 Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 TIan Holloway as much as he was a breath of fresh air! hes getting on my nerves and is starting to become a bore with his moaning out bursts! Hope the team stay up and maybe this is his way of defleting the spotlight off his team, but his rants are becoming tedious now. Anyone else agree? I do think he is getting himself worked up over it, however I do think he has the right to. Why should he just lay down and let Liverpool offer a small bid and just expect them to accept it. Maybe he is being over the top about how much he wants, but isn't that what we'd want our manager to do? If someone did actually come in with a bid for Samba for £5m for example, you'd expect Kean to tell them to sod off.

BuckyRover Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Team bids for player Owners decide whether bid is acceptable. That is the process, I don't know why he is bleating about it so much. We should make a low offer for Varney with the aim of unsettling their squad. They are in the big league now
Exiled_Rover Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Jussi has just let in an absolute howler. C'mon Chelsea!
Valois Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Jussi has just let in an absolute howler. C'mon Chelsea! Just seen it, keeper had no chance. Hit with power, and swerving. Great strike, bit like Junior's yesterday but further out.
Hughesy Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Good to see Bolton losing 2-0.....slowly starting to fade down the table.
Exiled_Rover Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Just seen it, keeper had no chance. Hit with power, and swerving. Great strike, bit like Junior's yesterday but further out. Ask Jussi if he thinks he should have saved it. Shocking, shocking goalkeeping.
Valois Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Ask Jussi if he thinks he should have saved it. Shocking, shocking goalkeeping. No need to ask him, it was a rocket. Great strike by Drogba, keeper no chance.
braddock Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Ask Jussi if he thinks he should have saved it. Shocking, shocking goalkeeping. Wasn't shocking. Looked bad though. He started to jump, it swerved the other way, he can't move after that.
moerpho Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Either way....makes our 0-2 loss at Stamford Bridge not half bad actually. When Rovers played Chelsea we had lots of injuries, claimed uproar(sp?) at the club and a new backstabbing & useless manager (yes-man) - makes you think, huh? Bolton have now played 24 games and are behind Rovers in the table even though they have been praised as a better team throughout the season.

Especially when Bolton have a superstar like Blake who they just brought on. Lucky gets.
grizfoot Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Love the fact we are now firmly above Notlob in the league after everyone was raving about them earlier in the season. The white brazilians looked anything but worthy of that nickname based on tonight's performance.
Hughesy Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 4-0 and a nice blow to their goal difference!! Happy days! They look like they really miss that Lee fella!
Guest linganzi Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 They had a couple of good games now back to form. Coyle in shorts, what a tool
tony gale's mic Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 The cream always rises and the sh... always sinks. I'm sure we'll be ahead of them again come the end of the season.
bep Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Coyle seems to have difficulties second half of season .No win in January he could be jumping ship again.
ffan Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 keane to fulham and enquired about eboué on loan, doubt that will come off.
Darwen Rover Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Do find all this mgt titt for tatt fascinatingly boring!! Also think houllier is getting bullied off holloway and Bruce.. Cone on boys stop moaning like big wooses n get on with it!!
jim mk2 Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Alan Nixon calling a "presser" for 10am to explain why the new Bill Shankly at Bolton is losing his halo.
Commondore Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Gary O'Neill has apparently signed for West Ham (undisclosed fee). Will be interesting to see how he does, considering Rovers were talking about buying him a few months back.
alexanders Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Wigan is crappy and cold Interview with Mohamed Diame.
LeChuck Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Wigan is crappy and coldInterview with Mohamed Diame. Hah. He's obviously as thick as two short planks then. Why is he living in Wigan? If the north west is vibrant enough to keep the mega stars at Man Utd/Man City happy, then it should be more than adequate for him.
alexanders Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Maybe he got turned down by Miss Wigan and is bitter.

They probably have the same sentiments (most places feels crappy and cold after you've lived in Madrid for two years, especially if you're originally from Mali) but have the sense not to talk about it in interviews. Also, he surely must have known about the size of Wigan and it's average temperature before he signed a deal to move there?
