Can somebody explain, what Ba Humbug means?

It refers to Ebinezer Scoorge who hated christmas. Bah-humbug was his chatch phrase when someone started talking about christmas!

and

"Bah" is an interjection expressing contempt or disapproval. "Humbug" is a noun that means "fakery" or "scam."

Why do so many people find it so hard to believe that Torres may actually want to leave Liverpool? Denial is not a river in Egypt...

Fernando Torres has decided to leave #Liverpool by start of next season & has not ruled out joining #Chelsea this month

It is goal.com but looks like Torres is a goner from Liverpool within the next 6 months for sure.

VDS retirement from MU sent my thoughts thinking worryingly about our very own Robbo.

United spoke to Buffon's people in October, but cannot see him leaving Juve.

Or is it a ploy to get Atletico to back off their demands for more money for Aguero?

That bid never happened,Atletico owner made it up.

The papers say he wants to leave,

Torres, Torres,

He wants to play with Frank not Steve,

Torres, Torres,

He's too good for David Ngog,

So now he's up front with the Drog,

Fernando Torres

The comments make for fantastic reading. The shoe is certainly on the other foot now....almost makes up for Duff, Neill, Bellamy and countless others.

"Barcelona is the only other alternative". Really? For a club not in the champions league this season and almost certisn to not be in it next year? Reality check is seriously needed at Anfield. Should put Liverpool fans in touch with Birmingham and Newcastle supporters.

ok - why is it that every single club it seems has the power to tell its want-away players to shut up and honor their agreement but us? And don't start with the "Liverpool are a bigger club than us" nonsense. It's not about how "big" you are, or how much money you have, it's about whether you have the determination and ambition to succeed.

Read the interview with Steve Kean today. What he is saying is basically what you are saying in that he wants to sign up a group of players who recognise that our ambition does match theirs. In the past we've had to let players go, not because we couldn't have dug our heels in and said no, but because the cash was needed elsewhere and the offer was simply too big to be refused. Now the manager is saying that we don't want that to keep happening. In Blackpool's case with Adam, they could lose a lot if they let him go. Not just their player and captain, but their premier league status, and the amounts they have so far been offered go no way towards compensating them for that. If Liverpool had actually wanted Adam and come in with a decent offer early enough in the window for the manager to have bought other players who would improve the squad he's not allowed to pick from, then they would probably have sold too - think of the pulling power it has - come to Blackpool for a couple of years and you can move to one of the perceived giants of English football. But Liverpool were themselves in turmoil and couldn't or wouldn't get their act together for a player they supposedly want and now Holloway is quite rightly digging his heels in. It's too late to spend cash unless the target is there, terms agreed just waiting for a sale to go through.

I think the signing of new contracts sends a statement of intent to other clubs. If you want our players then pay the going rate and don't bother unless you're prepared to. Nobody is naive enough to think players don't get sold even if they are on big contracts, but the way you do your business is different.

I really hope Phil Thompson says something sexist soon the mans an idiot, according to him Liverpool made Torres a world name not Torres himself, the smugness and self importance of Liverpool fans is sickening, they expect Adam to move to them as they see themselves as a big team but think Torres is acting wrong by doing the same thing.

Firstly I also hope that happens

Secondly, Liverpool fans are all on an other planet.
