Why werent Rovers in there !

Looks like that £5m kitty was pretty much correct, which asks the question, will there be another £5m made available in the summer without having to sell players to fund it.

As for now I'm certainly not falling for this Venky's have been good for Rovers, not yet especially when you hear players like Suarez to Liverpool and Bradley to Villa.

We have just got Jones in to play that role, why bring someone else in on loan? who is a similar style?

Torres is obviously out of our league, but I'd have thought Bradley would have been near or closer to Venky's Rovers affordability, though, must concede that Suarez would have stretched them even further. But these are two young top quality International players that would have increased Rovers probability of winning more premiership football matches which is what we are all looking for .

So if Ronaldinho had arrived this would have meant no money for a few years? Owners have said that if the club needs 5, 10, 20 million then they will pay- their words.

DOnt understand the fuss about Bradley to be honest. He has hardly set Bundesliga alight whereas JJ was named captain of a strong Schalke side.

Even if we add a couple of million on top of this £5m figure, this would suggest that Rovers could not possibly afford to secure the purchase of Santa Cruz, Jermaine Jones or Mame Diouf come this summer. Plus add more PERMANENT recruits in the summer.

Bradley is average to say the least. Don't think he'll make much impact in the prem to be honest.

if torres is 50m then by comparing stats after just watching barca i guess messi must be a billion, 18 league games, 21 goals, 14 assists....even big al in the best 4 seasons of his career here would'nt imagine a return like that, jaw droppingly awesome player.

Can surely only be a matter of time before citys owners try a bid.

He would never ever leave, barca gave him a chance when everybody else said he was too small, he will be a rare one club player . Fact.

Don't forget we can't criticise Rovers for that because "for all we know we could have made an enquiry and got rejected"!

Why dont we bid for everyone? . Seems some people wont be happpy unless we are in the chase for every player!

Probably already mentioned, but Jamie O Hara has joined Wolves on loan. Would have been a good player for us.

O'Hara had an injury problem recently however providing he stays fit that is a cracking signing for Wolves - tried and tested in this league too.

We've used up our quota of Premier League loans so he was never an option. I think Jones is more suited to what we need anyway.

If O'Hara can prove his fitness there I'd like to think we'll be looking at him as a permanent signing in the summer, I'm a big fan.

I'm a big fan too but he's been out a long while with " Back Touble ". Speaking from my own experience disc problems are not easily cured. I wouldn't have taken the chance much as I like the player. Wolves are desperate.

Or don't criticise others for speculating that he would not come back, and complain that we did not try for him when you dont know we didn't.
