Interesting reading of the document posted on the official website. Looks like Venky's have not bought the club with debt. Have committed themselve to providing funds for transfers etc.

Not one of these articles say that the debts have been paid, only that they have taken on the debt. Taking on a debt and actually paying it are different in my opinion. There is also nothing in the offer agreement.
