MCMC1875 Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Street parking around The Imperial Hotel, north shore is free all day. Some free street parking south shore but mainly only for one hour.

Hughesy Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Where is everyone planning on drinking tomorrow then?? Il be there about 10am - drop the car off at the hotel & then out on the lash! MUST NOT LOSE game....hopefully we have enough to win it too! COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!
MCMC1875 Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Che Bar, The Counting House, The Litten Tree, The Soulsuite and Walkabout are all close to North Pier and big on sport. A bit further north The Duke of York is also good for sport - saw Eric Bristow in there recently!
G Somerset Rover Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Vince and Dunny out What a shocker, Vince is out again with a hammy. Looking like another injury ravaged season for Dunn as well which doesn't bode well.
Ozz Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 May I remind supporters attending the game that all Premier League clubs rules of admission state that you may be refused entry to the stadium if you have had an excessive amount of alchohol prior to arrival.

RIML Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Get one and build from there. You never know Sam, we could even get another! At 2-0 people wouldn't be so damning of your tactics if you decided to sit back a little. Blackpool 1 Rovers 2 Man United have given away a two goal lead twice this season, I wouldn't say that's because of Fergie's tactics
Blue n White Rover Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Two major benefits. Administrative costs are less for the club (and that helps us as paying fans). Ticket office opening times are limited and not everyone who lives outside the are can get there easily. It's fairly obvious why it's set out the way it is IMO. Lots of demand and less time-wasting for people having to physically go to the ticket office. Postal applications are FAR more convenient. But then you rely on the mail courier - and if it's Royal Mail then that isn't always good. I'm with the others - if I hadn't had mine through in time I would have rung the T/O if I was really wanting to get tickets. How are the admin costs reduced? They are sending out Application forms to those eligible and then processing them forms also take time, so you have to take into consideration the opportunity cost. If there was no application form involved, then you simply go down to the TO to buy your ticket, and if you can't go down to the TO, then ring them up. Simple really. I have deadlines to meet at work, and I don't have time to chase up my application form. I expect them to send it out on time, and when I did fill out my form and gave it to the TO, I was not the one that lost the form.
G Somerset Rover Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Man United have given away a two goal lead twice this season, I wouldn't say that's because of Fergie's tactics In that case lets go for three!
RIML Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 In that case lets go for three! Yep you can never be too sure. United also slipped up at Fulham too.
MikeB Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 I've little confidence in our ability to get any result anywhere at the moment. Sam needs to shut-up and focus on getting some results if he still harbours hopes about Real etc Will we see Dunny, Grella, Andrews etc before Christmas (though not too bothered about the latter two!). Feel we'll get rolled 3-1 tomorrow and that I'll end-up in a drunken stupor in the sea tomorrow night.

May I remind supporters attending the game that all rules are made to be broken & therefore due to the rules its a case of making sure you dont get caught
rebelmswar Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 May I remind supporters attending the game that all rules are made to be broken & therefore due to the rules its a case of making sure you dont get caught Whilst in your drunken stupor Hughsey would you be so kind as to abduct Sam at half time? Perhaps leave him gagged in the men's toilet?
rebelmswar Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 But that's not to stop him doing his half-time team talk, is it reb... Just before half time then, and give Mr. Williams a clip round the ear for Ince while you are throwing the potato sack over Sam. I will pay your bail. Honest. This is not a promise of anything.
modes98 Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Looking at a nice early start to roll into Blackpool North just before 11 It's going to be a top day out!
OJRovers Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 My team: ------Robbo Big Mick--Jones--Samba--Givet ------N'Zonzi-Grella-- ---------MGP-------- Diouf-----------Ollson-- -------Kalinic------- The score: 1-2 Kalinic, Ollson
Blue blood Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Vince and Dunny out What a shocker, Vince is out again with a hammy. Looking like another injury ravaged season for Dunn as well which doesn't bode well. Well there's a suprise - personally the sooner we get shot of both of them the better. Grella offers nothing on the rare occasion he is fit, and Dunn seems determined to mount a serious challenge to Grella for the sicknote of the season award. On the plus side it should see N'Zonzi start instead of Grella. I think N'Zonzi adds a lot more - his passes reach his man, he gets forward more AND can head a ball. Wow, all that from a centre mid. Personally my team would be as follows (assuming fitness etc.): Robbo Salgado Samba Nelsen Givet N'Zonzi Jones EH Diouf Pedersen Olsson Kalanic With Blackpool playing a very attacking game, I think it'd probably be good to have Jones as the sitter in midfield to break things up. It certainly should stop Nelsen and Samba being outnumbered if Blackpool play with three strikers. I'd make EH Diouf watch a video of the first half against arsenal, and politly remind him that this is how he is to play, otherwise he'll be hauled off. I think we badly miss Olsson and his drive and willingness to run at people, and if fit he'd get straight into my team. As a winger I'm not too convinced bt Diouf 2. Don't think he is particularly creative, nor works hard enough defensively. Personally it'd be a toss up between him and Kalinic up front - I think Diouf 2 is wasted on the wing. I'd go with Kalinic though as he works harder and (although he isn't) is better suited to playing the target man role. One of the few positives of the Fulham debacle was that Sam and the players were talking about gettinga result at blackpool. I assume that means we're really going for the win, and with that intent, and form prior to the last game I'd like to think we'll achieve that. 2-1 rovers, Kalanic and Samba to score.

Sorry mate - that may be your game...but im not into that stuff! Modes - Which is north? Pleasure beach side or opposite? Any plans on drinking places?

Ferrit Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Awesome, Grella out, best news i've had all day. Hell, i'd even go as far to say all week.
rebelmswar Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 You sound surprised at this news. I'm surprised, surprised that he lasted this long.
Glenn Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Well, all being well (i.e. my wife hasn't had a third car accident in 10 days) I should be there at sparrow-fart in the morning and I'm staying for the weekend. Let me know where you're drinking and I'll do my usual Twitter/Facebook/4Square updates of where to find everyone.
joey_big_nose Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Robbo Salgado Samba Nelsen Givet N'Zonzi Jones EH Diouf Pedersen Olsson Kalanic Good team. Still can't see how we are going to move the ball that well from defence to midfield. We really need Nzonzi to improve on his passing game as we are going to be dependent on how he uses the ball. Still suprised that Linganzi didn't get any minutes against Villa. He is the one player coming through who can pass the ball a bit.
modes98 Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Modes - Which is north? Pleasure beach side or opposite? Any plans on drinking places? Opposite of south South is one that is near to the ground. North is lose to the tower and where the drinking establishments are (so I am told). Plus more regular trains to North. Drinking wise I am tagging onto my usual crowd, I've sent you a message
cn174 Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 South is one that is near to the ground. North is lose to the tower and where the drinking establishments are (so I am told). Plus more regular trains to North. From Preston there are 3/4 trains an hour to Blackpool North, and 1 train an hour to Blackpool South.
