Just a little bit of news...

Could be relevant, might not be...

The hospitality staff at Ewood Park have been called into work for three days this week without reason given. This is apparently out of the blue and very uncommon.

This sounds like good gossip. A bit like finding out when there will be a General Election, due to the advertising agencies booking up poster sites.

The next question though is will the catering be Hal-Al or Beef free ? if it's Kosher then we'll be really stumped

Interesting, but could be something as dull as health and safety training. Make sure you bend them knees when lifting that box bla bla bla. Lets hope that it's something more substantial though and we will have an announcement on new (preying) good owners soon.

Let's pray that any potential new owners are not of the preying variety ;)

For all those who think going down and staying down would be OK:

Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan claims his time at the Selhurst Park helm cost him £47m.

I saw him briefly yesterday on Goals on Sunday. It was a very interesting interview. He comes across as arrogant but honest and straight-forward and for that he gets my respect. He says his losses were £35million but his accountant puts them at £47million based on compound interest if he'd left it in the bank. He has absolutely no love for Ian Dowie but rates Bernard Cribbins as one of the best managers. His opinion on Karen Brady and the Porn Boys was very revealing and humourous.

Didn't know that. Looks like he was doing the media rounds yesterday, he was on 606 yesterday evening. Views on buying clubs and the Liverpool situation were very interesting. Spot on about being straight talking, not particularly likable, but talked a lot of sense. Worth listening to on iplayer if you've a spare hour.

very quiet on here with none of the folk in the know on. given what bpf was saying earlier looks like somethings going off and theyve been asked to be quiet.

To be honest I don't quote anybodys information on this board to my mates with the exception of Nicko and Kamy due to pee taking etc but it's always interesting to read and does the spirits every now and then

You're right, nobody posting on the forum has a chair at the board or trust meetings, but there are a number of people with contacts who can feed them small bits of information of varying degrees of accuracy and importance. As Nicko said, it's a jigsaw and between us all we still only have a small number of the pieces, but many of them do contribute to the full puzzle.

BPF hasn't got a bloody clue...just like the rest of us......nobody is in the know or else we wouldn't have an endless stream of rubbish.

Sparky, you are the last person I have any interest in on this board.

In this thread you have been constantly moving from:

Optimist

Pessimist

Troll

Idiot

The fact is that myself and a few people on here have a very real insight into what is going on. Between us, we piece together what we know and share what we can to prevent the mass hysteria that comes with three hours without news.

If you don't believe us or you are not interested, then you can go away.

Unless you have spoken to them, how do you know, - that they don't know? ;)

Read my post from Yesterday, 10:07 PM. There are quite a number of sources, that have contributed to what you read on here. I know of at least half a dozen.

BTW, don't PM me, because I'm not in contact with any of them and have absolutely no "inside knowledge".

Failing that Sparky, keep trolling.

EDIT: post link doesn't work.
