Tim Southampton Rover Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 How did Mirelles stay on after that lunge? Because he wasn't wearing a Blackburn shirt.
beerwins Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 We control posession for a while simply because we played the ball along the floor, we scored whilst doing this, we look a better team and we create more chances. We also conceded two goals but they were defensive errors, it is posible to have a strong defense whilst playing football but the team dont learn this, they learn to whack the ball as far as poss and the midfielders to sit and protect the back four.
Miker Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Also, how crap is Grella? Why he keeps trying to pass long I don't know, he's got no accuracy at all. Actually he's been quite decent since coming on. I'd wager he's got a better pass completion ratio than most others on our team today.
sweet Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Benjani must be in line to start against chelsea, and possibly other future games.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Actually he's been quite decent since coming on. I'd wager he's got a better pass completion ratio than most others on our team today. Since Grella has come on, we've actually looked a lot better, especially compared with the dreadful first half.
Rover Down Under Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Benjani has a horrible first touch, that's the second time he's lost the ball that way today.
BPF Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 We just put four passes together. Brought a tear to my eye. I bet I could have got 7 / 1 on that.
Dan Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Benjani's first touch is worse than Roberts' never thought anyone was that bad!
Backroom Tom Posted October 24, 2010 Backroom Posted October 24, 2010 Benjani's first touch is worse than Roberts' never thought anyone was that bad! Yet at however old he is, with a crap first touch and knackered knees he still looks better than Niko! Says a lot really
BPF Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Benjani has a horrible first touch, that's the second time he's lost the ball that way today. At least he has a first touch though. Kalinic has a 'fall-over'
Tim Southampton Rover Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 So frustrating watching us pass the ball around Liverpool. We actually look quite good sometimes when we do that. We've dominated at times the last 10 minutes since doing so. If only we did that more often.
Dan Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Benjani must be in line to start against chelsea, and possibly other future games. If you're right we are well and truly fooked and we will be playing in the Championship next season.
bigbrandjohn Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 I'd love it if we equalize. Bloody luv it.
Rover Down Under Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Liverpool have just put a cue ball on the pitch.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 3 minutes added on starting................... NOW!
Daremz Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 We deserve an undeserved equaliser, for once. Our next win will be in December, I fear.
Dan Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 An Allardyce fan? I'm a Rovers fan. So, at this moment in time, or for the past few months, who would you have had in charge, given our resources? And who would you have expected to better 10th last season? My views are based on the entire context of Rovers' situation. Your views are based on one thing. "It's not entertaaiiining..." ZZZZZZZ we got very very lucky last season, because your idol saw sense in January. We just want football, not hoofball(that by the way is NOT working). Please can we have a negative feedback button putting in on here?
sweet Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 If you're right we are well and truly fooked and we will be playing in the Championship next season. And who should we play to avoid that situation then - in your view? Its a shame we only decided to start playing it on the floor once dunn and kalinic came off. Its like Sams having one big joke.
Exiled_Rover Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Awful, awful performance. We could very well be going down this season.
BPF Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Dear Venkys, You're going to have to replace a lot of players.
