The player is foreign but has prem experience. No mention of whether he is over here at the moment or not. Be good to pluck a decent player from a rival club for a change.

Iceman has mentioned Ryan Babel :(

Nzogbia is a good player thats for sure but i'm dissapointed our central midfield is getting no love.

If we got Nzogbia what does that say for Hoillet? I would be happy enough with the wingers we have and I certainly would'nt be putting the majority of the budget in that position.

Furthermore how much would it leave us for a striker?

How much would N'Zogbia cost, around £8-10m surely? Good player, would certainly improve our attacking play. So we're after an attacking midfielder/winger (N'Zogbia), a central midfielder (C. Adams a candidate) and a striker (Mr. X, Y and Z being scouted?). What about left back? I think we need a specialist there...

Would signing a central midfielder push Jones back into central defence alongside Samba?

Hopefully that would mean that Grella, Chimbonda, Andrews and Roberts will go.

For the left back position, what about Enquire from newcastle? BS sign him for them 4 years ago.

Smashing our transfer record on Babel. Dear God.

Think I'll wait and hope for the morning and pray it isnt a record fee for Ryan Babel as it wouldnt set Sam Allardyce in a good light.

Yes he did. Also Nzogbia and Mendes. I think Nzogbia was mentioned before too and Mendes can´t be worth of £7M. So it´s Babel. Always thought he is better player than have been at Pool.

I think the Chelsea situation has to be watched. Ancelotti wants to spend in January - and Roman has said yes.

Better keep an eye on VIP box at Bolton tomorrow methinks...

Let's hope a Jason Roberts attempt on goal puts out the windows at the VIP box, then

Im confused. Neither Babel or N'Zogbia are right wingers or central midfielders. Babel could be counted as a striker, maybe.

All right then. Got a game to go to.

But will name the big money 'midfield' target in the People tomorrow.

My money is on someone getting it right.

Couple of clues. It's NOT Luca Toni. But he is foreign - and has Premier League experience.

The fee would be [arguably] a record.

Final word on it until the story comes out.
