John Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Blackburn Rovers have joined Birmingham City and Wigan Athletic in their pursuit of the Scot. The Middlesbrough striker is a target for the Ewood Park outfit’s new Indian owners, who have hired the Scot’s representatives to source new players.
Hughesy Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 King Kenny tells new owners - Put your money where your mouth is
philipl Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 So the dressing room is split now is it Philip. How are you claiming to back this one up. You can't just keep throwing your opinion out as fact, you have absolutely nothing to back that claim up. If it's based on some players being happy that sam had gone and some not then you could say that the dressing room was split under sam as a fair few if our players weren't happy then. Get a grip man! None of us are happy about the current situation but you're frequent rants are becoming comical and you are rapidly declining from one of the best posters on this messageboard to a complete joke. Ricky, you know from my PM how impeccable my sources are. The situation is actually worse than what I have put on here.
Ricky Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 I'd argue that Philip. Unless that source is writing every single post you make. I'm pretty sure that source wouldnt be able to tell you that the dressing room was split, he wouldn't know that anyway!! You can hide behind your source as much as you want but I'm guessing a fair majority of it is direct from you to suit your agenda.
imy9 Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Has the community funding project been cut? Is their funding independent of Rovers, I ask as this is quite important Philip to your current info that you seem to be getting.
Kelbo Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 According to one of the lads at Brockhall, expect a couple of shock transfer requests quite soon, wont say who, time will tell. Just had a text on this one and its from a Rover who is a member on here too!!
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 If anyone doesn't want to be at Blackburn then lets hope they put that request in ASAP so we can get rid of them. No point having any players who don't want to move forward with the club.
Bobby G Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 If anyone doesn't want to be at Blackburn then lets hope they put that request in ASAP so we can get rid of them. No point having any players who don't want to move forward with the club. Under normal circumstances, Id tell them to get lost; however, with everything that has happened, I dont blame anyone. Look at it this way, the events of last week has caused whatever it is that will happen from that day forward. My prediction is Christopher Samba. I hate to even think of it.

No point having any players who don't want to move forward with the club. Unless they're Samba, Jones,Robbo of course. If its Kalinic we can kiss the best part of 6M goodbye!

Kelbo Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 I hope youre right. Spreading a rumour like this hurts the club. Not as much as its hurting me, I really mean that.
Backroom trueblue Posted December 19, 2010 Backroom Posted December 19, 2010 Sounds like there will be more 'Outs' than 'Ins' this coming window then
chaddyrovers Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 According to one of the lads at Brockhall, expect a couple of shock transfer requests quite soon, wont say who, time will tell. Just had a text on this one and its from a Rover who is a member on here too!! Samba, Dunn, Robinson, Kalinic, Olsson, Hoilett, Nelsen, maybe even Pedersen. ****ing Great news. Most of the best players we got at the club.

Bobby G Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Robbo is Kentaro's client. Although that may not make a difference.

bennyboyt11 Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Definitely Samba isn't it. Ah well, was fun while it lasted eh?
Bobby G Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Must be the captain. No one else carries any value nor would be as destabilizing as the captain wanting to move.
vizcaya Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Aha, I get the picture... Sack a competent manager, unsettle the players, get the valuable playing assets sold, use the money to replace them with mediocrity. I am prepared to give them a chance, but I am losing confidence very quickly. They must have read the book "How to destroy a football club as fast as possible"... Now, I know it's not intentional, but still...
steo Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 How did this indian crowd pass the fit and proper test, they are a joke and being linked with rubbish like boyd is just going to ###### the fans off even more, can someone confirm it's samba that wants out, sick of hearing mrs desai talking absolute rubbish. nicko have you heard anything on the transfer front?

Are you reading what you are typing? You are rubbishing our new owners because of who media links us with? Great.
Robbo Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Roll on January to put an end to the uncertainty. Lets just hope that the new owners have learnt a few harsh lessons with their past performances with the media, as well as grasp the enormity of the situation at Rovers, and provide the funds necessary to secure a QUALITY signing to: 1. Improve the team 2. Show the current squad they mean business 3. Please the fans 4. Show the media that they are not out of their depth Any ###### poor unknown midfielder from the Italian second division (no doubt hailed as he next best thing) with (no doubt) links to Kenatro and they will have failed on all four counts. Keep the ###### poor unknowns for later in the window. Sam did it with Andrews... For the "ins"... we need players who is techincally capable. Actual FOOTBALLERS. For the "outs"....take your pick. I'd keep the youngsters maybe keep Samba and Nelson. Unfortunately the quality at Rovers has diminished year afer year which has left us with a pool of average (at best) professionals who are happy to take a good wage while they can.
