modes98 Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Doom and Gloom. I hope to god that they can convince everyone, apart from Keith Andrews , to stay. The club is at a critical point and I know they don't owe us anything but we need them to stay and play well.

92er Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Sam did it with Andrews... Allardyce didn't sign Andrews.
booth Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Allardyce didn't sign Andrews. Yes was a marvellous Paul Ince signing, along with Vince.
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 According to one of the lads at Brockhall, expect a couple of shock transfer requests quite soon, wont say who, time will tell. Just had a text on this one and its from a Rover who is a member on here too!! My guess would be any two of Nzonzi, Givet, Hoilett, Pedersen
nicko Posted December 19, 2010 Author Posted December 19, 2010 Robbo is Kentaro's client. Although that may not make a difference. Robinson is NOT a Kentaro client. The last Kentaro player client at Rovers was Warnock. Yet more McCarthy-ite rumours. How did this indian crowd pass the fit and proper test, they are a joke and being linked with rubbish like boyd is just going to ###### the fans off even more, can someone confirm it's samba that wants out, sick of hearing mrs desai talking absolute rubbish. nicko have you heard anything on the transfer front? Stop listening to the hype... Boyd is NOT a target. If Samba wants to move then it's got nothing to do with a change of management. There is a meeting tomorrow where targets and money will be decided. And that is in BLACKBURN.
67splitscreen Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Robinson is NOT a Kentaro client. The last Kentaro player client at Rovers was Warnock. Yet more McCarthy-ite rumours. I find it a little strange Nicko that with all your sources you seem unable/unwilling to name any of Kentaros listed suggestions of players to the Raos. Why is that?, when you seem to be aware of every other move that is being made and it seems in your opinion to have a positive outcome for the club.
AggyBlue Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 There is a meeting tomorrow where targets and money will be decided. They've already said £5M is to be spent this window, just targets then.
Roberto Policano Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 I find it a little strange Nicko that with all your sources you seem unable/unwilling to name any of Kentaros listed suggestions of players to the Raos. Too many spies on here to do that surely?,saving them for paper.
greco Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 generally a club in turmoil, players being critisized by the owner and an uncertain future, hell yeah some players are gonna question, whether its worth it.. the sensible thing to do, would be signing at most 3 players, so the hierachy in the squad wont be to ###### up. Going for broke, critisizing players and replacing half of the squad, is a recipe for disaster.
67splitscreen Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Too many spies on here to do that surely?,saving them for paper. Like yourself, not just referring to on here, nothing either where his bread and butter comes from.
Bobby G Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 The same way Friedel leaving had absolutely nothing to do with Hughes leaving? Paul Robinson is REPRESENTED by SEM (or at least its one of his agents). And SEM is headed by J. Anderson. Right or wrong? The very credible TransferMarkt.de says so here: http://www.transfermarkt.de/en/sem-group-plc-/details/berater_213.html Check your facts nicko as I think you may have made a mistake there.
Roberto Policano Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Like yourself, not just referring to on here, nothing either where his bread and butter comes from. I'm no threat to Alan mate.Italian's couldn't careless who Blackburn sign,Unless you are signing an Italian of cause. There are people from the Times,Daily Mail & Telegraph looking in on here though.
philipl Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 In which case they will have noted which two existing Rovers players nicko has mentioned in trying to get the excuses in for Kentaro first.

I still think Larsson will figure - like I said two months ago. There is another player that the caretaker manager likes who is a target if the fee is right. But the striker target is still a 'work in progress.' I have a name, but I'm not using it yet. Only Larsson of the three mentioned there is linked to Kentaro. Sadly I spent much of the past week checking into duff names and finding out they were wrong. The same way Friedel leaving had absolutely nothing to do with Hughes leaving? If you want to rely on lists, that's up to you. I take the trouble to check with real people. Robinson is with Robert Segal, who has nothing to do with Kentar/SEM or Anderson. And as for your Friedel line...you have lost me with that.

nicko Posted December 19, 2010 Author Posted December 19, 2010 Then I will take your word for it. So was he represented by Kentaro/SEM at a time? I don't know if Robert Segal was part of SEM at any time. He certainly isn't now. This Kentaro fixation is scary. About as scary as the idea of bringing Roque back... The bottom line here is that new signings are needed - Sam said as much himself. All that matters now is that the managerial thing is settled and new faces are brought in. It is ironic that the injury crisis that always threatened to wreck a pitifully small squad has hit the new 'boss' after just one game. That's football for you. Or did Kentaro fix the injuries, so that they could bring in more players...

Larsson would be a relative easy target I'd imagine, if the link with Bentley to Brum has any mileage in it and the SEM link. Striker, I've heard Santa is due any time any truth.
nicko Posted December 19, 2010 Author Posted December 19, 2010 Striker, I've heard Santa is due any time any truth. There's more chance of the one coming down the chimney arriving.

67splitscreen Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 There's more chance of the one coming down the chimney arriving. (sriker/santa) we definitely need a new emoticon.
Backroom Tom Posted December 19, 2010 Backroom Posted December 19, 2010 Samba, Dunn, Robinson, Kalinic, Olsson, Hoilett, Nelsen, maybe even Pedersen. ****ing Great news. Most of the best players we got at the club. How do you know this? Or is it just guesswork? Also Nicko as an aside isn't nick Blackman a Kentaro client? He appears on the SEM website but not really sure who SEM are!
Roberto Policano Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Then I will take your word for it. So was he represented by Kentaro/SEM at a time? S.E.M bought out Robert Segal's agency in 2001 for £4 million. He broke away a few years later to form another agency. That must be were the confusion comes from.
Steve Moss Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Never claimed to be a Rovers fan, but never want to see your club come to harm. I work in the hope that people benefit from knowing more and making up their minds as a result. And thanks for the knowledge, Nicko. You're invaluable so far as I am concerned. Venky's wanted rid very early on. Ironically it was Kentaro who stopped them - and suggested giving the manager the season. Which tells me that Kentaro is not trying to kill the club. The problem appears to be impetuous owners who have more pride than sense. And really, we have no choice but to hope that Kentaro can convince the owners to make the right moves. I hate to say it, but Kentaro may ironically be our best chance to save the season.
RibbleValleyRover Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Presumably we still have the scouting system in place that we have had for many years and that they will recommend players as well as the ones Kentaro/SEM recommended?
