Our club is going through it's most tumultuous time in recent memory, and our captain comes out with that. Absolute disgrace. I hope we get rid of him asap, he obviously couldn't give a ###### about this football club.

Here we go again. Right, I'm not going to bother with the joke of a club for a while. I have to think about my mental health, and can do without the stress. See you guys at the relegation party!

And what has our club done in the last four weeks to make sure he is kept on board?

Our club hasn't changed. Our owners have. Totally different. Chris Samba, if this story is true, has absolutely no respect for any of us. He shouldn't even be mentioning John Williams - JW is a man who no matter how unhappy he was, knew he had to stay and try to make things right. He's a real man and someone who deserves our utmost respect for the decision he has made. Samba is a disgrace.

Paid his wages.

Sad news but screw him if thats how he wants to be slap a £20m tag on his head and if nobody pays up then he stays.

Whilst the majority of Rovers fans disagree with the sacking of Sam mid-season (me too), and the appointment of a rookie....and also hold alot of doubts about our new owners...NOW is the time to back your club & stand up and be counted..

IF ANY player wants to spit their over-paid dummies out in our hour of need then for me they can FOOK OFF! No 1 player is bigger than this club & its supporters. As T4E rightly pointed out, we have had to watch plenty of dross from them in the past so now is the time to man up.

Lots of reservations have been made about our new owners, now is the time to see if they back their loud mouths up with the cash....only time will tell!

"The players and fans need answers about the club's future." - Samba has said what everyone is thinking. The difference is he's the captain and knows his words will be listened to. Ignore the sensationalism by a red top it's what they do. Nelson said the same, he just didn't go as far as to use his position in the club to get some answers.

Come on Philip you need to stop making stuff up and stating it as fact. If you know of four or five players who want out name them. If not stop throwing mud absolutely everywhere in the hope that some of it is true.

A month or two it was fact that the venkys brothers sat far away from John williams. Last week a fact that funding for the community trust had been pulled amongst other things.

We are all aware things are looking less than rosy at present but your hysterical preaching in every single thread isn't helping anyone.

TCO, I said yesterday that I heard from Brockhall about two, one has come out today (one of the names I PM Majiball - he will confirm and the other mentioned on here tonight) we will se if I am 100% correct and not 50% but my contacts are good when they give me something.

Kelbo I do not doubt some will want to leave as it happens everytime a team changes manager, those who have been teachers pets realise they may not be anymore. Also I have no reason to doubt you or your source.

It's just the way Philip is jumping on every possible negative as a stone cold fact that will doom us.

Please let the other one be Dunny.

Show me a picture of the Rao/Anderson group with John Williams at the Chelsea game. Go on there are over 150 of them on the internet.

Sadly there are departures from the Community Trust Fund- it is on this MB.

Samba and El Hadji Diouf (on here last night) plus the one that Kelbo is aware of and I know that is a different name to two others I have heard of.

People say things under great stress which they regret later. I think it would be terribly unfair to post on here that player X is going when X might not be so sure when he is less flustered. I sincerely hope that is the case.

Yes I could give you the five names but I live in hope that none of these five leave so I am not posting the other three.

Seriously Hughesy, you offer no more than being the proverbial stopped clock.

IMO (and several others) you were at least telling the right time for most of the Sam regime, but alas time has now moved on and you're still stuck.

I think Hughesy is just offering a different perspective a yin to philips yang, its better to have polarising views to balance it all out.

The reality of it all may be somewhere in the middle, there is obvious problems which some will point out but at present still some light shining somewhere which others will point out.

I hope Samba's latest comments are made in an effort to get some answers, as well as telling the new owners that they have gotten off to a terrible start. As captain it is only natural that he had close ties with the former manager. This club, according to Samba, is quickly becoming ill. If he had not cared he would not have said anything - he would have just left.

Two weeks ago I couldn't wait for the January window to open.

Now I can't wait for it to shut.

Strange times...
