SergioPeter89
someone please email that list to the club! Have done it already. If Venkys are serious about doing the same thing as Arsenal, they should really look at that list.

Roberto Policano
Better than Totti? So reasonably good then. I actually hate that, when people big up a young player and it just puts unnecessary pressure on him.But hopefully he's a good'un yes.
Billy Castell
True, but then Totti was over rated. Did naff all in Europe or Italy, and I doubt he'd last outside the Roma team.
LeChuck
It should be noted that a managers input over transfers work differently in Spain... The most likely scenario is that Benitez pointed out positions that needed strengthening, and that a director of football/president/whatever decided what players were to fill those positions for him. They were his Liverpool signings.

Wild Irish Rover
Arsenal and Spurs in for Samba? Aye, as id with our glut of cover its like we can afford to lose one of our best defenders and team captain at the moment... £8 million too - are they having a laugh? Honour thy contract, Big Chris

Alan75
8Mil, they are funny aren't they. Remember he plays for Rovers. If it was the other way round, they would be quoting £18 million

Rogelio Funes Mori I mentioned Ruben Micael when he still played in Nacional da Madeira. He is not a first team player nowadays because FC Porto got Joao Moutinho from Sporting Lisbon. Still worth to try... Latest price tag for Funes Mori: 10 million €. At least that's what the press claims here in Portugal.
Amo
So, Samba's not a happy bunny and wants out? Oh, boo hooooo. You signed a multi-million pound contract last year and you're supposed to be captain of BRFC, not Big Sam's fanclub. It's times like these when you find out who the leaders are. pick32
hello Mr Redknapp can we have bentley, bassong and Dos Santos please or Mr Wenger we will have bendtner, vela and nordveit please.
slough_rover
Samba for 8 mill plus bentley and keane both on loan till end of the season would see us jump up a few places. Push Givet into his preferred position with Olsson on the left and Hanley as cover.
cesus
What makes me laugh is Samba says he wants to leave due to the way Big Sam was treated but Kean has said today on SSN that Samba's agent has told him that he has wanted to leave for 12 months. Kean 1 Samba 0 ... Its been great having you Samba but don't let the door hit you on the arse on the way out. We want men at our time of need not people using the Sam as an excuse to jump ship. Miker
So, Samba's not a happy bunny and wants out? Oh, boo hooooo. You signed a multi-million pound contract last year and you're supposed to be captain of BRFC, not Big Sam's fanclub. It's times like these when you find out who the leaders are. I quit my job and went somewhere better after the management in my company changed. The new managers were incompetent and made things unbearable at work. Best decision I made in my life. They all got sacked not long after due to a myriad of issues and now they have even worse management there, so much so that all the remaining seniors have now quit as well and moved on. If Samba doesn't find himself enjoying life at the club anymore then it's his prerogative to leave. Owners don't care who they bring in, but those that have to work for them do. nicko
Arsenal and Spurs in for Samba? Yeah, Wenger just loves his first touch. Spurs were at the game last weekend...watching someone else. The big chap may have to climb down very shortly. Nice to see the line about angling for a move for some time has come out. How's your rebellion going?
Ricky
If we could get a decent fee for him then let him go, no one player is bigger than the team. I also wonder if we could use him to land some of spurs better players. They have the likes of O'Hara, Bentley, Krancjaer. Any one of those would improve our team. I wonder how Hanley will develop, quite a few people who watched him and Jones coming through the ranks though Hanley would be the one to make it so hopefully we'll have another good one there.
