Majiball Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Don't you know your Zulte Waregem players?. Can't really say I do, but that chaps name is one hell of a mouthful. What about Roope Riski Maji?.He'd only be cheap too.Plenty of promise. Isn't he finnish? strange bunch of people. Top scorer in the league over there though isn't he? 19 as well. Out of curiosity how long have been thinking about that one? Roope, indian owners, lol. Where do you get all these names from?

USABlue Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 So if we assume that we'll have to sell Jones at summer 2012 because he wants to test himself at the highest level, we'll have saved £6M by keeping him until 2012 and not selling him now. Would he not have done that last Saturday? Let's make no mistake or be under any illusions here, 20Mil and he's off. I'd hazard a guess that the chicken folks would have him out of here at half of that.
Majiball Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 You can all say what you like, but Jones is a Rover he's one of us and I don't think he'd be off as some suspect. Given the takeover I think he'll want to stick around for few years to come, unless off course he's pushed.
chaddyrovers Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Rovers after Janko according to the DM. Everton also interested http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Transfer-news-Everton-hoping-to-pip-Blackburn-to-FC-Twente-striker-Marc-Janko-article641163.html

Everton also interested http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Transfer-news-Everton-hoping-to-pip-Blackburn-to-FC-Twente-striker-Marc-Janko-article641163.html I was waiting for this story to appear, it wouldn't be a proper transfer window if we weren't linked with signing Janko again. He has been on our radar for about 4 years !
budha Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Isn't he finnish? strange bunch of people. Top scorer in the league over there though isn't he? 19 as well. Out of curiosity how long have been thinking about that one? Roope, indian owners, lol. Where do you get all these names from? Second best scorer in a very average league. And his first season in the senior level. Might come good, might not. Rumoured to be going to Juventus for trial soon - not that he would be ready for their first team, but a loan deal somewhere could be on the cards should he move. He also has a big brother, Riku Riski, who's also being tracked by some decent clubs, Cesena for example.
Ozz Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Isn't he finnish? He's no Finnish-he's only nineteen.
Jackson Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Rovers after Janko according to the DM. Everton also interested http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Transfer-news-Everton-hoping-to-pip-Blackburn-to-FC-Twente-striker-Marc-Janko-article641163.html Why do I get the feeling that, despite new owners, the coming transfer windows will look depressingly similar in terms of targets?
BuckyRover Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Why do I get the feeling that, despite new owners, the coming transfer windows will look depressingly similar in terms of targets? Of course. They are Sam's targets, only now we might be able to afford a couple of them.
gumboots Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Of course. They are Sam's targets, only now we might be able to afford a couple of them. to be honest getting any targets in has to be better than getting nobody.
Bobby G Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Twente wont sell Janko 5 months after signing him.
John Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 All guess work at this stage because we are dealing with the unknown – however if a decent bid came in for Jones, and I was the new owners, they could snap their hands off – anything above £10 million could look quite tasty for them (taking into account how Venky’s paid for us). We may be in a stronger position to resist bids compared with previously but money usually talks.
Roberto Policano Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Where do you get all these names from? Comes with the job mate,If you spend hours talking with Agents,Scouts & Footballers etc.Your football knowledge becomes excellent after years. I mentioned those 2 because i reckon they are decent players, aswell as added comedy value, wasn't sure if anyone would know about the duck. The guy from Zulte is a lazy git,but if someone could get inside his head,i reckon he could be a very handy player indeed, cheap too. Juve have been watching the Finnish lad for 2 years now.again he is dirt cheap, and a handy player too.It would be better if he signed for you or another Premier League team before Juve.

Even now considering he is English, and the price other English players go for (some rubbish ones too), and him playing regular football already, Id say in the domestic market he is worth 15 million.
Jackson Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Of course. They are Sam's targets, only now we might be able to afford a couple of them. Wasn't Janko Ince's target too?
Bobby G Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 I think some degree of our target list is based upon the scouts of the club who have outlasted some of the managers, and may not be purely brought up by each and every manager we have had in recent years. Janko fits that category. Roque linked with Milan on loan. Let's see how much his "fondness" for a return to Ewood Park lasts now...

Janko fits that category. Roque linked with Milan on loan. Let's see how much his "fondness" for a return to Ewood Park lasts now... Milan lost Inzaghi for rest of the season but still it would be tough place for Roque. In case he wants to play I mean. Janko´s name is here again so the transfer window must be close. This time we won´t debate on Zigic. We missed nothing there and Janko is even worse. Someone mentioned young Finnish striker Roope Riski. The lad seems to have talent to score. But he is a light weight and very far from PL level. No use for Blackburn. Morten´s friend Huseklepp seems like worth for given chance.
alexanders Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Ivan Rakitic. Out of favour at Schalke. Only 22 years old - midfielder.
Mr. E Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 uh-oh. I hadn't actually thought about the consequences of losing 7-1 would have for your image as a club new players would want to sign up for. Now I am. And they are not good thoughts.

Now I am. And they are not good thoughts. It was a fluke result. If we were getting tanked on a regular basis, maybe I'd agree. Besides, players should relish a challenge!
Roberto Policano Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Ivan Rakitic. Out of favour at Schalke. Only 22 years old - midfielder. In talks with Juve unfortunately.Big fan of Rakitic, hope he doesn't go there. Milan have been offered Cruz, but i doubt they'll bite.
67splitscreen Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Juve or Bolton? no contest, the premier leagues top footballing side, allegedly prepared to offer 7-8m euro, that should just tip them over the £100 debt figure.
Roberto Policano Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Juve or Bolton? no contest. Bolton every day of the week.

Real Madrid got thrashed 5-0, what's your point? The best and worst teams can have an off day some times.
