That may be the case. But as of now nobody can say that and could even be considered as an allegation. Until something is actually done against the club, we can not accuse as that could be considered as slander. Nobody on this messageboard has any idea on what Huber / Anderson are going to do. Though everybody can speculate, guess. We may even get near to the mark, but only by guessing.

I do not think the Venky's are totally stupid as to only listen to Huber and Anderson. The venky's know how this is a new venture for them. The trust when selling to them would have suggested they keep JW and Sam on to help them if needed. A sound business person listens to all sides, considers all options before acting.

That is the Anderson track record last time he played at shadow club management. He will totally screw us.

The BIGGEST point in all of this debate is who Kentaro are suggesting for January...

If they have some super striker up their sleeves then nobody would be bothering about whose idea it was.

If they don't then there will be some friction all round.

The pressure is actually on them to deliver.

Now I'm getting excited. :D A super striker would be just the thing (though I would want that coupled is quality LB, RB and center midfielder to maximize the 'super' in super striker). :rover: And I doubt Sam would complain if a super striker was truly delivered. He's a pragmatist first and foremost.

Exactly. JW's actions will be the strongest indicator of where we are headed.

I think this is true. JW has a lot invested in the Rovers and obviously cares about the club. If he thought he could do any good, he'd stick around for a year or two to ease the transition before tossing in the towel. If things are outside of his control, then he can't do any good and I suspect that he'd pack it in. I hope Venkys realize what a straight arrow they have in JW.

Perhaps we are jumping the gun a bit. Venkys, especially Mrs Desai, have a good track record in doing things the right way (so we are lead to believe).

Maybe they need advice from Kentaro about many football matters in general, including players available to come to the club, before meeting with JW and BFS.

Help me out I am struggling to find the common ground between chicken farming and running a modern times Prem footy club. Maybe just my fading memory but it seems there has been some savvy business men come unstuck financially in the football world

The crisis deepens.

I could have written that story. Honestly nicko, the amount of genuinely interesting things you post on here that don't make the paper really paint The Mirror in a bad light. It's clear they're only interested in posting your stories if they are sensationalist (bullshit) or about one of our best players leaving.

A bit much considering a simular article has appeared in the local paper as well. Oh Sky on sat also mentioned there was a meeting with Kentaro and the Venky's in India this week. so Sky, local paper and now the Mirror - cor it must be spreading like a disease this sensationalist stuff.

You can shove your Roque Santa Cruz up your derrier, how many times do we have to say it for the message to get through FFS.

Totally agree RSC WAS a good player for ONE season with Rovers. Now he is a crock with dodgy knees. Thanks RSC for the past, thanks for the transfer fee, but no thanks. Time to move on and get a younger and fitter talent.

Give it a rest ffs.

Maybe there are things going on that you do not know anything about, but he does.

How the Ashes going by the way?

It may well be the case that he does but as others on here have pointed out this particular poster clearly has an agenda (until the wind changes direction) and this makes him difficult to take seriously. His gloom and fear mongering also make it clear that he would much rather be proved right than see Rovers end up with suitable owners.

As for the Ashes, I went to all five days and it was superb thanks. I dont know whether you are attempting to gloat but I went as a neutral and I am from Accrington.

I'll be on your case next time Sussex get beat

I am not being an alarmist, however, the next few days could well decide the destiny of our future as a football force.

If Venkys make the wrong calls, it might be all over for us with turmoil ripping the stability to shreds and they will see £50m+ go down the drain.

If they wanted independent advice then fine, however, JW & Sam should have been first brought on board.

JW has steered the ship, mainly successfully, for many years and if Venkys don't trust his abilities and judgement then he wont be around for long.

I hope that sense prevails and that the ultimate decisions reside with JW and Sam who will expect, in any event, to rationalise their strategy with the new owners.

Todays LET is reporting that we are considering making a move for Robbie Keane.

So far we have been linked with RSC, Carew, Ngog, Larrson,Gary O Neil, Pogrebnyak and now Keane.

I'm not fussy I would take any of those, I'm just glad we are being linked with half decent players I have heard of.

I don't know why some people are getting there knickers in a twist about the owners taking advice from Kentaro/SEM. They are football agents, so what ? You can't buy players if you don't deal with agents. There are a lot of decent players who are under this agency so they are no mugs.

The owners are trying to raise revenue, if we can get the first pick of some good young players and then sell them on for millions in the future then we are happy, the club are happy and the agents get their dosh.

I am also awhere that there are others on here who are also still not convinced about the takeover and have concerns about it from various PM's I have received. The only difference is they have not put them on the messageboard. Some have hinted at this and that. Most are restricted - for various reasons, such as confidentiality / legal - from saying what they know - or believe to know.

Do not think I am having ago here. But when you read from other media sources that there is 'possible' trouble looming we have to take note. Sometimes the media a restricted on things they can say, on record off record stuff. But most of us can read between the lines of what is written

You could have written that story...based on the info I have been posting here on the subject for the past few weeks.

Thanks.

There is a new element to the story - the meeting.

We are now at a point where the problematic potential clash I pointed out here [and in the Sunday People] has come to a head.

That is called news.
