Nicko: Is it true that both Ali Syed and Saurin Shah is still interested?

Syed and Shah have been interested for months...but the only deal looking like being completed this week involves VH and Kentaro.

Amused by this suggestion that there is a possible U-turn. By who? Rovers have known about Kentaro from the start of this and were happy to speak to them at the time Syed was telling everyone about his imminent purchase back in August.

I don't imagine the buyers will have been put off today. Good crowd, good atmosphere and a stirring performance.

The bottom line is that this is going to be a long season all the same.

The one time the camera showed them, they didn't appear to be watching the game. Some bloke next to the chubby one (white guy, possibly one of Kentaro's people?) was saying stuff in his ear that he was paying attention to, and the other brother was checking his phone.

That was Jerome Anderson.

They were sat quite some dstance from the Directors' box.

Apparently the two brothers are very different in personality. The one with Jerome Anderson in one ear and India's gold reserves in the other is apparently very loud and brash whilst the other is very quiet and studious in nature.

If it was this chap it was. Philip also said he saw him as well.

Older and heavier than that photo but recognisably him.

I'm sure that the brothers are football fans from what i read in the LT. BPF, why are you against this takeover by this group? do you favour Syed or Shah bid?

I'm not. Just staying grounded in the fairly non exciting realms of reality.

Nicko - there was many more than 4 at the game.

They left around 75 mins to get back to the airport for their private jet.

There were four in the director's box - second front row.

They were sat quite some dstance from the Directors' box.

You clearly had a restricted view or just duff info.

Again.

Article below on Jerome Anderson, who we could be more acquainted with over the coming weeks/months....

Agent Anderson the man behind City revolution

Anderson's involvement with Thaksin began before the City takeover; he was brought in to advise when the former Thai Prime Minister, in exile in London, was first considering buying a football club. In a series of connections which trace the global links of football, business and politics, Anderson's introduction came from Thaksin's most important football contact in London, Philippe Huber (Kentaro), a Swiss media entrepreneur.

You could kinda tell that just by looking at them.

Out of interest, is there any news on how Kentaro will fit in? Will we be tied to buying players represented by them? Or will they be a giant scouting network?

Ideally it would be the second one with the club having first option on displaying the biggest talents Kentaro have to offer which would also make Kentaro the most money. If that was the case then that could mean they would be pretty decent players. Otherwise, I cannot see the point in Kentaro giving us average players who won't impress the bigger clubs who would pay big fee's for them.

Been having a good long think over the takeover. And it comes down to two routes for me, to be simplistic. Either take the gold and premier league football, or not and slowly decline. I've seen both, and all I want is my Rovers, be it 6 thousand crowds and memories knowing we never sold out, but in my soul we are the Rovers of 1875, of Lewis and Crompton, of Briggs and Clayton. Does it really matter if we are in the wilderness? I'll still go. And I'll remember.

Sorry but nothing of this has been mentioned in the media since they declared their interest of taking over the club. It has not been said either on this site, local or national papers or Tv or radio. So how you can come to that opinion without even meeting them etc etc is daft in my view.

I do not think anything can be read in to their leaving early. Apart from there will be a lot to discuss between now and then. But even that would be left to others to discuss.

Do you know to what extent / roll Kentaro will play if this takeover goes ahead?

Not sure if this was posted previously (apologies if it has already), however for those who are interested, info below on the respective legal teams.

Hammonds and Addleshaw Goddard have won lead roles on the proposed takeover of Blackburn Rovers Football Club by an Indian poultry farming company.

I found this the other day but forgot to ask who the legal team for them is. Set up by Hammonds.

Venky's London Ltd. nothing suspicious or devious. Venky's

Ms. Desai, stated in the interview that a new company had been set up Venky's PVT Ltd. I assumed it was in India.

The two are working together. I think you saw that by the very public appearance today.

Surprised people should have been trying to claim otherwise last week after the original story came out.

I don't know if that was a steer within the club for some reason or just the usual follow-up denial mode that some have the unfortunate habit of slipping into.

This is why I'm fearful of this takeover. There seems to be too much conflicting info from VH.

Got to just see what happens, cross our collective fingers and hope VH develop a passion for the club.

I don't think VH see any conflict in working with people who can give them football advice.

The only people seeing a conflict are those who want to see this fail...and have been pro-Syed since the start of his move.

I wonder what THEIR motives are...more cash for the Trustees?...higher share price?

Who knows?

VH and Kentaro can't think they have anything to hide. They could hardly have been more public in their arrival together today.

This follows both groups being in the talks and then seeing the Premier League.

So the Trustees, the club and the football authorities seem ok with everything.

I would love to know what the problem is.
