Sadly not that I am aware of, nobody in London cares about us and I imagine every pub will be showing the Manchester derby and ESPN are showing a Hearts game.

Oh well.

Perhaps it will be on one of the foreign channels - I will ask around.

Cheers

Balwer, off topic a little but I am a blackburn lad who is on business in London this week. Is there anywhere that will be showing the NUFC v BRFC match? Cheers!

Simular boat for me. I live in the south. Though I know there are some people on here who know about live streams etc. I wish they would pm me and tell me where.

Pafell, I think you are wrong in assuming that the 'Club' and the 'Trust' are single entities, to be trusted or not. They are collections of people. Each person has their own agenda and their own opinions. Any board needs a strong chairman to persuade and coax people into some sort on consensus. In the interim the individuals say things that reflect their personal opinion which is not necessarily consonant with the opinions of others.

I think it's fair to continue saying 'trust the trust' but first they have to be allowed time to form a final collective view of the way forward. Herding cats comes to mind. Some of the anti trust comments are probably no more than reflections on a few free spirits saying off-theme things.

My understanding was that the club are in the hands of the trust, for the latter to take care of. Of course they are seperate entities. I also fully understand that in a trust or collection of individuals you will have difference of opinions, own agendas etc. But for ages now various posters on here have said for ages to trust the trustees. Those same where still saying that during Syed's reported interest in Rovers. But those same people had a different opinion when the trustees started listening and leading towards Venky's. So in one breath they say trust the trustees because they went for Syed. Then don't because they are now interested in the Venky's.

A new topic in the offing:

"If the club had to move, where would be your choice and why?"

Anywhere as long as it is not Burnley. Jokes aside, it would not happen. The club, like wimbledon, would then stop being Blackburn Rovers. Therefore I would not support them.

If it did happen, it is bad enough, cost and time etc, travelling from the south coast uk to Rovers, let alone any further - for example India.

All I will say on the matter I hope they have enough money when they come on board because Iceman,T4E or whoever he is called will be swallowing up most of the profits the number of times that guy changes his avatar!. I don't understand why he just doesn't call himself Joe Bloggs and just be done with it! LOL! :D

Nothing there to get ripped for Abbey, I think these are the worries of most of the thinking supporters. All very real dangers but some think that they are a very remote 'scare-mongering' possibility, others hear Agent Anderson's name and fear the worst.

On the general theme of scare-mongering, many long standing supporters have over the years established connections/friendships at all levels of the Club/Walker Family/Trust. They are often told things on the strictest understanding that they are not repeated. The best that we can get away with is dropping hints, asking rhetorical questions, laying a trail so that people can work stuff out for themselves with the odd nudge in the right direction (makes Philip sound like Deep Throat ).

On the delays in VH completion, I don't think there is any problem here just the mechanics of sovereign and money transmission laws and the general grunt of drafting agreement documentation. Unless an Exocet arrives from stage left I don't foresee any problems.

PR and fan consultation is something I've had a big problem with throughout this process. Maybe it's an Indian thing but I don't sense anything 'inclusive' going on here. When the first radio interview was released of the Indian telephone interview I was struck by the deference of the interviewer punctuating every couple of words with 'Sir', and the superior arms length responses given. I guess (without meaning any disrespect) that culturally we are a tad more egalitarian and forthright here in Lancashire and get a bit uppity when we are dismissed or discounted.

This is my one criticism of JW's handling of the sale process, we really should have handled this better as the club are losing a lot of hearts and minds judging by the poll. That said JW is still the main man in my eyes. I'll say it again that I think it is imperative that, if willing, he is kept on in the same job. Losing him, the Trust, the walker linkage the ground name etc is akin to death, divorce, redundancy and having a custody battle all in the same month, a bit to stressful for most. Can we have a bit of a stable reference point please whilst everything else is changing.

If we think replacing JW with Agent Anderson is a good idea or installing him as a DoF I would point to NUFC and Mr Wise as a warning of what could happen.

If anyone in VH PR is reading this then a fan's rep on the new board might be a very good idea otherwise the fears raised by Abbey will only grow and grow, and that's in no one's interest.

So" most of the thinking supporters" fear we might be relocated somewhere else in England!!!!!! I think we should invite Marvin the Paranoid Android to bring some perspective to this discussion!

eg is there even one tiny scrap of evidence that anyone intends to replace JW with "Agent Anderson"? No there isn't its just more of the same tripe. get a grip!

even if they moved cities miles away or to another country?

imagine a few years down the line the "euro league" which the big boys crave and a set of criteria is brought in and we dont match it and say a big populated city with lots of "fans " of an indian background suddenly showed interest in wanting this type of football and the owners think mmmmm lets see about moving there and they had the promise of filling a stadium with say 60,00o "rovers" fans ,what would they do ? what would you do ? say ,off top of my head ,to budepest? mumbia, for a world league?

like i say its ott but theres always something that shocks the football world.

/quote]

Like you say its OTT but you push it anyway. I can understand now why 25 % of Yanks think Obama is a Muslim and 50% think he bailed the banks out!

Its a funny thing but I've been reading on here that Venky's are only worth 500M quid, less than the Walkers and therefore can't possibly buy the type of player needed to take us to the next level.

Now, all of a sudden, they're planning a new 60000 seater stadium in GB or Budapest or India? 200 to 300 Million quid gone there?

This Board has gone absolutely bonkers. I despair.
