Glenn Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 All Rovers fans will be brought together in mourning for one of our all time greats- captain of club and country- Ronnie Clayton whose death has just been announced. A lifetime Rover and one club stalwart, Ronnie remained a familiar face around Ewood and the town after his retirement from playing. An undoubted lifetime highlight of many fans who never had the privilege of seeing Ronnie's enormously cultured midfield play was to have been taken by him on one of his wondrous tours of Ewood Park. If any club had a living embodiment of its soul and character it was Ronnie Clayton at Blackburn Rovers. (That was kindly written by Philipl as I couldn't find the words - Glenn)
