Eddie Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Good to see Sam changing it when needed. Emo should have played at RB today though for me. So really not good from Sam. It was obvious to anyone who watched the debacle at WHL last season that Salgado was not the man for this game.

Tim Southampton Rover Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 I see that the Venky's team are sat right at the back of the stand again..... Probably trying to sneak out after watching the first 40 minutes.
Miker Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Taking Salgado off is a horrible move if tactical, he was doing really well against Bale. EDIT: ... I rest my case.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Oh well. 2-0 now. Pav scored his usual goal against us. It was coming.
Backroom Tom Posted November 13, 2010 Backroom Posted November 13, 2010 Well that's that then. On to next week. May as well give Goulon some time today.
Exiled_Rover Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 I see that the Venky's team are sat right at the back of the stand again..... Tell them to (Please don't use that word again) off with their £5m transfer kitty.
MarkBRFC71 Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 2-0, I think that'll do it. Oh well, winning Wednesday meant that anything here was a bonus but I fear a real drubbing could be on the cards.
tony gale's mic Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 FFS. Free header Pavlyuchenko. Tell them to (Please don't use that word again) off with their £5m transfer kitty. That's £5 million more than we're getting right now.
rovers1995 Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Need to beat Villa on Sunday now and we could be in the relegation zone by then gutted. But didn't expect anything today
Exiled_Rover Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Two very soft goals, but when you give a team that much ball with Van Der Whatever and that Croatian bloke in the middle they're always going to tear you apart. For me Bale will be shut down by quick full backs. He's all pace.
tony gale's mic Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 For me Bale will be shut down by quick full backs. He's all pace. He's got great delivery and an excellent shot too.

Nelsta Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 i think that's me done for today, We're lucky to be only 2-0 down.Cant see it getting any better.
LeChuck Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 For me Bale will be shut down by quick full backs. He's all pace. Bale's only fault is that he's one footed, but his all round game is brilliant, to say he's just a speed merchant is a long way wide of the mark. Maicon is a quick full back and look what happened there. The only positive so far has been Kalinic, he's looked really strong and has shown good feet several times today. When we don't just hoof it he looks like he can definitely play a lone striker role.
Darwen Rover Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Ithik supers mite WIN but ROVERS MITE win are draw
Backroom Tom Posted November 13, 2010 Backroom Posted November 13, 2010 Need to beat Villa on Sunday now and we could be in the relegation zone by then gutted. But didn't expect anything today Things are looking a hell of a lot better than this time last week at least. 6 points in a week has helped out massively. Also it's very doubtful we will be in the drop zone by then.
CrazyIvan Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Ithik supers mite WIN but ROVERS MITE win are draw Huh?
Amo Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Ithik supers mite WIN but ROVERS MITE win are draw Yuuuuuuuup...
Mr. E Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 the ease with which Spurs ripped us apart this half is scandalous. We need to start putting in some heavy challenges and breaking up their play.
