[Archived] Did a Lord really admit to money laundering for the IRA and that the Catholic Church is trying to buy Britain ?

Ok, if you only read the text of this article, you'd dismiss it was either a conspiracy theory or the plot to a Dan Brown novel. But the Hansard (the official record on what is said in the Houses of Parliament) does confirm what was said.

I don't know what is more worrying.

A lord admitted to money laundering for the IRA with the bank of England's full consent.

He's implying the Catholic Church is covertly trying to obtain political influence in the UK in return for easing the financial burden.

Taking £17 billion off some organisation and thinking you can drop them at will, come on Theno, lets get real here, do that and your probably brown bread.
