somebody is insisting that Ian Pearce was in the starting line up the day we won the title at anfield in 1995, i dispute this believing the back 4 was kenna, berg, hendry le saux.

can anybody confirm the staring line up for this game?

That somebody is correct. Le Saux was in midfield.

Not want to sound like a stalker but it annoys me that when people talk about the championship winning side as most people miss Ian out of it. He played in most of the games from Christmas having basically replaced Tony Gale who started the season playing regulary.

was convinced wilcox played, but just checked the footage i have from that game and the starting line up was indeed as you posted. my bad lol

wilcox did his knee in during the run in and didn't play quite a few games towards the end of that season.
