Rover Down Under Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 An absolute carbon copy of his free kick 2 weeks ago. Brad obviously doesn't watch highlights. Good time to score as well!
Amo Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Howler from Friedel. I wish Pedersen had saved that for the start of the second half. Rovers hate leading at the break.
imy9 Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Another goal by MGP, he obviously meant it as it's his second free kick goal for us, I think we need some extra support fir Givet who has played quite well after a really tough start.
BuckyRover Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 He really is showing the Pedersen haters up. You should support our players.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 It's rare that Brad make a mistake at Ewood. He probably should have claimed that. I guess the awful Villa marking didn't help him.
Eddie Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Why do the commentators never believe that he is shooting? He does it time and again and they always think that he's just overhit a cross.
martmitch Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 very uncharacteristic mistake from brad, was very well hit free kick from mgp tho, villa are making lots of mistakes and most of the play is in their half. I hope we dont come out for the second half with a sit behind the ball mentality and try to win it 1-0
RibbleValleyRover Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 It's rare that Brad make a mistake at Ewood. He probably should have claimed that. I guess the awful Villa marking didn't help him. Was a poor mistake. Perhaps being roughed up a bit has led to that?
Mr. E Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Morten is a magician again. Yes Friedel could have saved it, but that doesn't take away from how well that free-kick was curled into the top corner. Real quality stuff. And it would have been a crime to not be ahead after so many set-pieces...now the game will be decided by who scores next. Villa are dangerous on the counter.
BuckyRover Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Why do the commentators never believe that he is shooting? He does it time and again and they always think that he's just overhit a cross. It would be incredibly foolish to do that in front of our new owners.
Amo Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 He really is showing the Pedersen haters up. You should support our players. He's been shockingly average for years, and now he's picked up a little form you're using it to say 'I told you so'?
BuckyRover Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Or the fact that he is nearly 40? I know it's only one mistake but would anyone swap him for Robbo? I wouldn't.
Messi422 Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Hope Roberts score the second goal and it will be the 3 time both of them score at the same game and same sequence.
BuckyRover Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 He's been shockingly average for years, and now he's picked up a little form you're using it to say 'I told you so'? Nothing wrong with being an average premier league player. I'm quite happy that I don't get on the case of one of our most loyal and hard working players. Especially as we know what he can produce when he is feeling confident.
jonv Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 He's been shockingly average for years, and now he's picked up a little form you're using it to say 'I told you so'? perhaps with more support from 'fans' such as yourself, more of our players would be playing with a little more form more often

I'm quite happy that I don't get on the case of one of our most loyal and hard working players. Especially as we know what he can produce when he is feeling confident. Then you obviously have low standards, because I expect more from our key midfielder - especially when we've seen what he's capable of in the past. As for "loyalty", the modern footballer doesn't know the meaning of the word. perhaps with more support from 'fans' such as yourself, more of our players would be playing with a little more form more often Welcome to the bandwagon.
SamTheShrew Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 I know it's only one mistake but would anyone swap him for Robbo? I wouldn't. No chance - Robinson is firmly back up in the top 3 keepers in the league now. Any feelings I had for Friedel left about a week after he decided to join Villa great bit of business by the club
broadsword Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Nothing wrong with being an average premier league player. And are his wages average as well? He's not even been average at time, particularly with his dead-ball delivery. At times, he's been absolutely shocking.

Any feelings I had for Friedel left about a week after he decided to join Villa great bit of business by the club I remember theno being gutted about the transfer. I expect him to come on and say he was completely wrong and Ince did something good. He knows when to admit he was wrong.
BuckyRover Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 And are his wages average as well? He's not even been average at time, particularly with his dead-ball delivery. At times, he's been absolutely shocking. Average for an established Premier league and International midfielder? Yes.
