So people are in love with others because they speak the truth?

Get real mate.

P.s. No, I'm not in love with Nicko, nor am I a "nicko-teen"

Yeah but it is a bit over the top, if we had got a deserved win today we'd be before these 'white brazilians'.

Bolton didn't deserve to win today. Said that about two hours back.

But they do deserve to be ahead of you in the table for their overall displays.

More blue collar than white Brazil today. Still, they all count.

The irony is that Sa had a big input into that. He saw quality in him when no one else did.

I would never dispute that. But there is also no doubt that he has stepped it up even more in the last year.

I just like a good sideways move...

Sixth in the table with a team of honest triers.

The legend continues.

It was Burnley who called it a sideways move.

Why are you coming on here trying to take the ###### getting all hot under the collar over Coyle?

He's a good manager who will do well, but will ultimately leave Bolton as soon as someone better comes anywhere near.

GUTTED!!!

More shots on goal, more shots on target, better passing success, more territorial advantage etc.

Had Clattenburg had a pair then he would have sent off Knight, Davies and also given a penalty...but to be honest he didnt want to give us anything. Roberts is clean through yet just a yellow?? Funny Samba never gets that decision.

It was a case of 'not wanting to go in today'....we must have had 2-3 cleared off the line, and it just would not go in...whether it be by a block, an arm or whatever.

Gutted to concede the late goal after our fine finish from MBD....Apparently the sky cameras panned to my gutted reaction....ANYONE know where I can get a full re-run of the sky game? Torrent or whatever?

Finally - to blame Sam is pathetic...they went to 10, we brought an extra striker on and had MANY chances....we simply didnt defend well enough to back up our attacks.

Here's my observation on today's game....this wasn't our best performance by some distance but Coyle has instilled a belief in a squad of players that is not much different to the one he inherited from the Ginger Mugson to the point that they just don't know how to give up. I thought your lot gave us a torrid time for a good portion of the game, a typical BSA performance in many respects, but you offered more than just the direct football associated with the big man. You'll excuse me this moment of oneupmanship as you've had the indian sign over us for quite a few years now and no doubt we'll lock horns for a few seasons yet in the top flight.

Do us all a favour and stuff those West Spammers next week

Givet is having a bad run but in the past he has proved our best option at left back. Who would you pick to play there Simon?

I would buy a left-back either in January or July. Warnock has never been replaced. Right now its Givet or Olsson.

We created the chances - just couldn't score them. Hard to take when we had pulled it back, but that's football. For every defeat like today; we have the last minute winner against Blackpool ;). Bolton played well and seemed to get in more space even when down to ten. Wouldn't have thought they had ten men for a third of the game.

I didn't say that - you've taken my post out of context. Of course Rovers went for it, but I also think Coyle didn't do what Allardyce expected him to do which was sit back and defend. He could have shut up shop and defended for a 0-0 but he also tried to attack as much as being a man down would allow, went for the win and I think he got the upper hand in that little battle.

As per usual after a Rovers defeat, you have been very prolific on here since the final whistle with gleeful barbs aimed at the manager yet when Rovers win you offer only grudging praise and then slink back into the primeval slime which you inhabit. Strange kind of supporter who enjoys his team losing.

So one of the things you think Sam got wrong he didnt actually get wrong at all!!

Ollson was on from the start.... so not really sure how sam was supposed to 'throw him on to stretch them'

D'oh I meant Hoilett

Strange game - had a strange feeling they might beat us today. Always disappointing when you lose to 10 men - but not exactly unheard of.

A couple of observations :-

1. Bolton must be one of the dirtiest teams in the EPL - some of their challenges were borderline to say the least. Still can't make my mind up whether Davies fouled Nelsen in the lead up to their goal - or was just stronger.

2. Olsson has to play regularly - why was he substituted ?

Overall - some reasonable performances - MGP continues to show good form - as does Roberts. We didn't lose it in the second half - but in the first when we had them on the rack but just couldn't finish.

Olsson got booked just before he was sub. And wasn't happy with some of the challenges going in on him. So BS thought take him off before he got sent off. Sensible tbh.

Hughesy, take your blue tinted specs off mate, the foul on Roberts was never ever going to be a red card. There was another defender there so Roberts wasn't clean through and Knight wasnt the last man. It was the correct decision.

Ricky from my spot at the breezeblock - he looked the last man....il review my decision in a min on MOTD2.

Seen it again - a few times

Roberts was clear of BOTH defenders, therefore it has to be classed as a 'professional foul' and therefore a red card.

Mark Davies could also have gone for a straight red with his nasty foul in the 1st half.

God how I would love us to have just an ounce of that, we'd be in the top 5 by now. Instead we have players who, for far too many games, have given up before they step foot on the pitch. You don't have to buy it in a bottle, it's completely FREE!

Rubbish. The ball was clear of them but Roberts wasnt clear of either. He didnt have control and there was another defender who would have been able to tackle Roberts if Knight hadnt done so. Davies's challenge in the first half was never more than a yellow. The ref made the right calls throughout which was a surprise given that it was Clattenburg.

No excuses today. Too many mistakes. We lost the points more than Bolton won them but still, down to 10 and to score twice - Bolton deserved it.

It was a difficult call to make, I think Clattenburg was right to pull out the yellow as it was marginal whether he was clear of both defenders or not. Davies could have gotten sent off, yes, but justice was ultimately served later on. If he had gotten sent off earlier we might have lost by even bigger numbers ;)
