[Archived] Villas

we are thinking of having a family holiday this year in a villa. We are not sure where yet or total numbers. We are working on 10 people,4 adults,2 teenagers and 4 little ones oldest being 8. Any ideas or recomendations,either places ,resorts ,websites etc. We are looking at no more than a 4 hour flight.

What are you looking for in terms of a resor: chips or tapas?

Gozo is nice and quiet...am I right to asume that you are the quiet type?

Alternatively if you are a bit of a raver then what about Cyprus.

My advice would be to book it all yourself. When we've rented a villa direct from the owner the cost has been far lower than working through an agency. I think we used ownersdirect.co.uk last time. It all worked out OK. Turkey was good.

Never stayed there (three villas in the same town in Portugal), but Joe is a top bloke and the thousands of pics I trawled through doing the website looked great.

I've used them for the Algarve, Javea and Cyprus several times in the last 5 years and can't recommend them highly enough

Abbey....if you fancy Spain - nice place called Calpe..perfect for families - about 50 mins from benidorm.

If you fancy it my mum lives there and can get you info on LOADS of Villa's which they look after/ rent out!
