SamTheShrew Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 absolutely inexcusable. worse than amateur
RibbleValleyRover Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Around 30 mins to go. What's our record away defeat in the league?
BuckyRover Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 I said to my Utd friend yesterday. I'm feeling pretty good about our performances at the moment. I'm not expecting to win but I think we will give a good account of ourselves.
Backroom trueblue Posted November 27, 2010 Backroom Posted November 27, 2010 Fat Bolton slug... I'm sure Berbatov isn't from Bolton
Arcturus Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Looks like we are gonna give wigans 1-9 defeat against spurs a run for it's money today....
RibbleValleyRover Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Record defeat in the league: 0–8 v Arsenal, Division 1, 25 February 1933 0–8 v Lincoln City, Division 2, 29 August 1953 Wonder if United might beat that?
Plastic Head Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 The last time we conceded 7 was when Roger Jones went off injured at Shrewsbury. I thought I wouldn't ever see it but I think I will today.
Rovermatt Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 I'm sorry but this is an absolute disgrace.
MarkBRFC71 Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 6-0. We're an embarrassment. Thanks lads for rolling over and allowing yourselves to get a good reaming, and a special big thanks to the fat clueless one for yet another display of unparalleled tactical ineptitude. Come on Venky's, you know what you need to do.
Backroom Tom Posted November 27, 2010 Backroom Posted November 27, 2010 Today is inexcusable but last weeks surprise win and the win at Newcastle has afforded us a bit of leway thankfully. The problem is now confidence will be rock bottom whilst Wolves and Wet Ham will feel on the up. Rooney hasn't got his guaranteed goal yet, it's coming though.
Mr Maureen Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 As long as we beat West brom and Wolves at home then we stay up and the Bolton @#/? can trot around Ewood end of season with another tick on his England job cv. Allardyce for England, now today.
Hughesy Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Terrible score....can a mod close the thread please
bigbrandjohn Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Brilliant strategy by Sam. Perfect advertisement to the new owners for the need to buy quality players. Hope it doesn't backfire on him and they buy a quality manager as well.
imy9 Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Wow 6-0. That is shambolic, important month coming up before the window reopens. I do not want to see pascal in a rovers shirt again.
sam_rovers Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 lets hope we keep it to a tennis score and not worse
cesus Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 When teams have been forced to refund the away fans in the past, today is one of those days. I will be emailing the club at full time to insist they do that!!!!!! I acknowledge I am not at the game before people say.
beerwins Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Words just cant sum up what im watching at the moment, I have always been proud to be a Rover because of our great work ethic where did that go? I have never seen Tactics fail so bad, players so lacklustre with so little clue on the ball, how can we play against Chelsea then play like this, I take nothing away from Utd they have been very good but we have gifted them everything.
hollowsr Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Phil Jones having a go at people to try and get them to do something! Also would love to know why Junior didn't start, he's looked good with the ball!
RibbleValleyRover Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 I'm not going to call for his head as United should be beating us. He hasn't helped his cause with the new owners though, no heart in the performance and the result largely self inflicted.
Backroom Tom Posted November 27, 2010 Backroom Posted November 27, 2010 I wonder if Sam will be worried tonight, it would be stupid to sack him when we aren't even in the dropzone but they don't seem over enamoured with him and may want to show their authority.
