Backroom Tom Posted November 27, 2010 Backroom Posted November 27, 2010 Hope we get FC United in the FA cup and demolish them. Stupid question but how has Linganzi coped?

beerwins Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 It is embarrassing to watch this game. The Venky's will now see what they have taken on. Now learn that a lot of dosh is required to build this team. This is the same team bar a few players that should have beat Chelsea, the only difference is mindset, when you set out with a negative attitude you are going to get beaten.
hollowsr Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 A "consolation". On a different note, Morris has looked decent. He has at Left midfield as well some positive from this game maybe or not
MarkBRFC71 Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 We're getting embarrassed today granted but not a chance he is that close to getting sacked Don't bet on it. The Rao's clearly aren't enamoured by the man or his style, and as new owners they'll want to make their mark on the club ASAP. I think he's at least got to prove himself to them since the Desai interview, and not the best start to lose 7-1 in your first game since then .... ?
bigbrandjohn Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 A "consolation". On a different note, Morris has looked decent. Agreed. Great crosser of the ball
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 With Rovers confidence and results seemingly on the up of late how the hell does ANYONE explain what has happened today? TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE AND EMBARRASSING.
The Dart Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Everton losing 4-1 at home to WBA is aruably a worse scoreline than ours.
imy9 Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 At least the difference between us and the bottom three is currently still the same.
Backroom Tom Posted November 27, 2010 Backroom Posted November 27, 2010 Yes thank you Bolton - Coyle is God
Hughesy Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Everton losing 4-1 at home to WBA is aruably a worse scoreline than ours. True...but with 10 men. I need Stoke to score to secure me £4000!! Blackpool now 2-2 too!
booth Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 This is the same team bar a few players that should have beat Chelsea, the only difference is mindset, when you set out with a negative attitude you are going to get beaten. Agreed. Kevin Gallacher was saying only the other day in the LT that he reckons Rovers do have players who can play positively but Sam likes to play his way.
BuckyRover Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Don't bet on it. The Rao's clearly aren't enamoured by the man or his style, and as new owners they'll want to make their mark on the club ASAP. I think he's at least got to prove himself to them since the Desai interview, and not the best start to lose 7-1 in your first game since then .... ? I agree. It wouldn't surprise me if they were looking for a reason to sack him. I wouldn't be happy because it's always a risk changing the manager mid way through a season. Pathetic performance that really endangers us for the reasons described above.
Stuart Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Everton losing 4-1 at home to WBA is aruably a worse scoreline than ours. Remind me never to argue with you!
JAL Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 You can just vision Big Sam sharing a laugh and joke with Ferguson in his room over a glass of wine after the game.
Exiled_Rover Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 My Manc supporting mates are ripping me. Truly embarrassed. The boys owe us all an explanation. Your Manc supporting mates....in Somerset? Ha, yeah I'd listen to their opinions about football(!)
Backroom Tom Posted November 27, 2010 Backroom Posted November 27, 2010 Damn Wolves got the win it seems
ptholt Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 silly question, but quite how can junior toilet be considered as "looking good"? Was that purely from a male model point of view? Every time ive seen the lad he's either so fast his feet set off without the ball (perhaps he forgets it?), or his final delivery is worse than a blindfolded postman pat on crack. he reminds me of that greek lad (donis??) who could run like greased lightning but crossed into row z every time, if thats promising id hate to see very average sadly. Morris, jones, nelson and samba the only real players worth mentioning, rest should be made to walk home and reflect on the disaster. Id wouldnt trust chimbonda to get dressed without screwing it up today, did someone tie his laces to tight?
Plastic Head Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 What's worse, getting stuffed at OT or stuffed at home to West Brom? It was always going to be bad day today looking at teh fixtures at that's the way it turned out.
Backroom Tom Posted November 27, 2010 Backroom Posted November 27, 2010 I'd feel far worse if we had been on the end of Everton's result for sure
BuckyRover Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 What,s worse, getting stuffed at OT or stuffed at home to West Brom? I can't argue with that to be fair. I would be a lot angrier at a home defeat to WBA.
Backroom Tom Posted November 27, 2010 Backroom Posted November 27, 2010 1-1 at Stoke, good day for Hughesy at least
