RIML Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 United have the best home record in the league, they've beat Newcastle, West Ham, Liverpool, Tottenham, Wolves and Wigan, drew with West Brom. But to be fair I would expect Rovers to have a similar record against them teams at home. Make us proud Rovers, COYB!

Majiball Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 BBC has Gamst down as available????? I hope he is.
G Somerset Rover Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Maybe Samba's done a Mourinho and Gamst is actually gonna play..
Dan Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Had a few bets, 2-1(to Rovers) and 2-2 are 28/1. If we can go at them then we stand a chance if getting something. I just hope we don't concede early. I've been very impressed with The way Sam has had us playing lately, so I hope he continues to impress :-) I've heard MGP is playing? He is full of confidence at the moment and I can see him scoring if he plays.
Dunnfc Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Rovers: Robinson, Salgado, Samba, Nelsen, Chimbonda, Emerton, Jones, Goulon, Dunn, Dioufy, Roberts. Subs: Bunn, Givet, Hanley, Hoilett, Lingazi, Morris, Benjani
hollowsr Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Manchester United v Blackburn line-ups: Man Utd: Van der Sar, Rafael Da Silva, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Nani, Carrick, Anderson, Park, Berbatov, Rooney. Subs: Kuszczak, Giggs, Hernandez, O'Shea, Evans, Fletcher, Obertan. Blackburn: Robinson, Salgado, Samba, Nelsen, Chimbonda, Jones, Emerton, Dunn, Goulon, El-Hadji Diouf, Roberts. Subs: Bunn, Givet, Linganzi, Mwaruwari, Hoilett, Hanley, Morris. So no Gamst then, Goulon gets first start, no Kalinic either, quite a young bench really!
AspRover Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Presumably - Robinson Salgado Samba Nelsen Chimbonda Jones Goulon Emerton Dunn Diouf Roberts
budha Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Official site has N'Zonzi, not Benjani on the bench..
Backroom Tom Posted November 27, 2010 Backroom Posted November 27, 2010 Would have liked hoilett to start but good to see linganzi back on the bench, has he been injured or out of favour?
tony gale's mic Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Interesting lineup...wonder if Niko is injured or dropped? Goulon starting, I guess he's got nothing to lose. If he does well then great, if he doesn't then I guess it's been a tough test?
hollowsr Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Official site has N'Zonzi, not Benjani on the bench.. Benjani was definitely on there before
joey_big_nose Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Very surprised Hoilettt has been dropped. Hopefully Dunn can show a bit of quality and Goulon gives everyone a lift.
Balwer Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Very surprised Hoilettt has been dropped. Hopefully Dunn can show a bit of quality and Goulon gives everyone a lift. I don't think it's that surprising, he's shown a bit in attack but we are away to one of the top 2 teams so we need our midfielders to be able to defend well too. Emerton is far more assured in that regard. Solid team overall, disappointing Gamst wasn't fit, we will need to rely more on Dunn to create something now. Best of luck to young Goulon, great place to get your first start.
Daremz Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Why on earth is Sam always playing Chimbonda. He's a natural disaster.
MarkBRFC71 Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 It's a bit of a negative line-up IMO. We're highly unlikely to get anything by trying to defend, so why did we not go out and give it a go and surprise Utd like we did in the game when Pedersen scored twice? We've basically gone exactly as predicted and Fergie will have prepared his team for exactly the way we've lined up. Oh well, can only see a routine and comfortable home win. 1-0 already. Game over.
Amo Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 So drop Hoilett when he's finding his feet in the first-team, but keep the knackered Dunn? Um, okay. Hope it pays off.
Hughesy Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 1 min - 1-0 united....united played on after robbo was caught by Anderson!!
SamTheShrew Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 anyone would play on. pathetic defending
Mr. E Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 that was the most pathetic goal I've ever seen conceded.
SamTheShrew Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 It's not cheating at all. United played on which was within their right, we didn't. who's fault is it that we are 1-0 already? Ours and only ours
Mr. E Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 and Chimbonda can't mark possibly the only player in the Premiership that's slower than Heskey.
