Instead of Nelson on last weeks showing let him have a break today lot of games coming up.

Ps chat about Kean and youth. there all sitting on the bench together.

Jones dropped?

A bit weird.

Looks like no holding midfielder. Cant make out the formation. Could be an advanced 4-3-3 or a possible 4-4-2.

I'm glad. He's only 18 and he's played every game this season. He needs a break.

On the rare occasions Emerton has been asked to play a holding role he's been excellent there. Hopefully Keano is of the same opinion.

Disagree with the people slating Jones.

Concerned that we are facing Parker and Boa Morte with that midfield- Boa Morte has track record of doing damage to us.

The West Ham selection- Boffin, Ben-Haim, Tomkins, Upson, Gabbidon, Barrera, Parker, Dyer, Behrami, Piquionne, Boa Morte. Subs: Larkins, Reid, Cole, McCarthy, Spector, Faubert, Stanislas.

- looks very attacking.

Could make for an interesting game.

Bit harsh on Jones to say he has been POOR in midfield.

Well our whole midfield has been poor this season apart from early form of Diouf and snippets from Peds. Seeing as he isnt a midfielder I think its fair to remove him from there.

So, 4 - 4 - 2

MB Diouf up front with Roberts instead of Jones protecting the back four.

If we're playing 4-4-2, with Dunn and Emerton in midfield we're going to get slaughtered.

I live at the bottom of a close of 20 houses. The only one who did anything about the snow last time out was me, I lugged buckets of grit from the next road, so that we could get out of here safely.

I'm liking the way Kean thinks already. What worries me is that I'm an amateur. If I approve there must be a flaw.

Jones doesn't really deserve the drop.

I don't think its an issue of deserves. The last couple of matches I've seen Jones limping around towards the end. I think he needs a rest. He's young and his body is probably still developing. A few weeks or even a month off would probably do him some good and protect the Rovers investment, IMO.

Hoilett, Olsson & Kalinic.

I'm gutted the first two aren't playing we could have had some pace and excitement if they were whilst the current midfield looks 'industrial' at best.

Still lets see how it goes.

Come on rovers!

By the way the roads seem like they will be an absolute nightmare after the game
