I will wait for the stats but I think you are fantasising

I think we've seen less direct balls.....but it's also making us less threatening. Have we even tested their rookie goalkeeper apart from the opening few minutes when we had a couple of freekicks in succession?

Great save from their keeper. We've tested him and he's bloody amazing!

I agree completely.

Nothing at all better about the football so far, this is dull.

Rubbish. We should be top 5 club and taking the game to teams like United never mind West Ham..

Yeah sorry, I need to start 'thinking big'.

So many mistakes being made by both teams. Pretty rubbish at times.

We're asking everything to go through Emerton. He's simply not creative enough. Dunn, once again, is a passenger.

I think the two Dioufs have played well. Benjani has been anonymous though.

Man U are our rivals, uphold the honour of Jack...

Are you close friends with John Williams or something? You seem to have the same love affair with an average manager that he had.

So far a dire game from two dire teams. As a team we are a creative abyss.

Agree.

We hadn't failed to score a goal for ages under Allardyce (when was the last time?).

Direct tactics in the second half please Steve. Get the three points then get to work on the training field next week, we can't threaten the goal playing in this manner just yet.

Quite an edgy game, as many expected. A lot of the players don't look like they fancy it today.

West Ham are there for the taking. At the moment, we're playing all of our football in front of them. We just need to bring on Olsson or Hoilett to give us some space behind their backline.

Poor poor performance.

The lack of quality in our squad is clear to see in my opinion.

We looked rudderless without any set strategy out there. Too many random moves, as if the players are out there playing on their own.

Well we may have more possession but it's neither entertaining or effective.

West Ham are growing in confidence and I'm not optimistic about the second half.
