I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure it was nearly three weeks ago.

Also, the clues were there in one of the first interviews where "playing style" was mentioned.

I was about to post give Venky's a chance wait until we see who they get as a manager, not much point now is there.

Clueless to sack Sam without a replacement but trying to convince Maradonna to become our manager :wacko::wacko:

I was stunned when I heard the news today, and I still am. I genuinely feel sorry for Allardyce, who I feel did a great job with little or no resources and deserved the chance to spend some money and attempt to take us forward. The timing is the most ridiculous part of it all though. We're coming up to the most important run of games in the season - games that could make or break us. To rock the boat now is just ludicrous.

And then I read some of the fans opinions on here saying how happy they are and how they are looking forward to the exciting times ahead, and I'm just left shaking my head. Some of the comments I can take with a pinch of salt as they come from posters who seem to care more about headlines and glamour rather than the state of the club and town, but some of these comments have come from long standing fans who's opinions I respect. Can't you see that we've become a laughing stock - the type of club we used to mock and feel superior to because we had an identity and we kept things real?

And then I read we want Maradonna to be our next manager and I just start laughing. I hope those of you looking forward to the "exciting times" ahead are still supporting us when we're in the Championship (or lower) because that's where we're heading I fear.
