T4E Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 I think that means Kentaro already know what is going to happen. Unlike you.

Roost Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 OK, things will become very apparent over the next couple of days. I am going totally dark on this one until morning. And that means no PMs too. Why do you torture us so.............? What about an eleven o'clocker Nicko??
AJW Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 OK, things will become very apparent over the next couple of days. I am going totally dark on this one until morning. And that means no PMs too. Why do i get the feeling we're not going to like this
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Keep an eye on the betting!!
imy9 Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 I am guessing that this means that Kean has been installed as manager til the end of the season. We also have a budget of X amount of money that we will be spending in January. I really cant see us getting another manager in when they have said Kean is in charge for the forseeable future. I guess we will find out at about 11 on The Mirror site.
Grez Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Stuart Pearce's odds seem to be strengthening looking at those odds over the last 5 days.
John Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Stuart Pearce's odds seem to be strengthening looking at those odds over the last 5 days. With most of the world's best young players about to join us, we could be looking for someone to nurture this talent.....
Earlydoors Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Noticed Nigel Clough is now on betfair and his odds down to 20/1 I love the football that Nigel Clough's Derby play. Its an obvious comment but it's as easy on the eye as Forest was. I don't think he would be enticed by Blackburn though. He's very much a family man that is happily settled and it could be argued that one promotion and Derby (average attendance 29k in Championship) would be bigger than Rovers. Plus he's stubborn and would not stand for the sort of nonsense from above that's been displayed this last week.
Blue n White Rover Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Rafael Benitez. That is the name that I have just heard. He is unsettled at Inter Milan and looking to leave. His daughter has just restarted school in Liverpool, his heart is in Liverpool. Either Rovers or Sevilla. Liverpool fans think he'd be crazy to choose Rovers over Sevilla, but with his daughter back in England, this rumour may have legs. Can you shed any light on this Nicko? Anyone?

Unless he's promised a war chest there is no way he will consider Rovers.
Mattyblue Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Rafa? Not a chance in hell he would come here!
broadsword Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Jesus, not him. That would put the tin lid on things. Not only is he a bitchy little girl, he's a rubbish manager too. Fritters money away.

Fritters money away. Champions League winner, 2 La Liga titles, FA Cup, World Club Championship. Rubbish manager? Hmmm.. Edi: He is in Liverpool today...
broadsword Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Champion's League - lucky Can't comment on the La Liga titles, don't know anything about Spanish football FA Cup - not teh glittering prize it once was. World Club Championship - who were they playing, some congolese team? Spends money like water on a procession of gash footballers, then demands some more money. Not very good at all.
gumboots Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Champions League winner, 2 La Liga titles, FA Cup, World Club Championship. Rubbish manager? Hmmm.. Edi: He is in Liverpool today... There is very little that could drive my husband away from Rovers but I think the appointment of Benitez could just do it. Normally my husband is a mild-mannered man - he has to be to put up with me and to have done so for 37 years and counting - but the sight of Benitez in the Rovers dug-out could just tip him over the brink.
RibbleValleyRover Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Rotation Rafa? No thanks, don't rate the manager one bit.

sweet Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Benitez? I thought they wanted attractive/attacking football. The guy plays just as defensive as Allardyce!
Kelbo Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Unfortunately, with a very few exceptions, most clubs in UK and indeed Europe, now play one up top, there are exceptions and the ones who are successful have money, the ones who havent fail!
67splitscreen Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Rotation Rafa? No thanks, don't rate the manager one bit. That;s the link Venky's XPRS rotisserie Dept. Phew!
sweet Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 "I'm still Inter Boss" http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/3276/serie-a/2010/12/20/2269958/bullish-rafael-benitez-surprised-by-reports-he-has-been
Roberto Policano Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Rafa? Not a chance in hell he would come here! Agree. He hasn't been sacked yet.But like i said 2 weeks ago.The reaper could swing at any moment. Moratti was going to keep him after his World Club Cup win.But his comments have annoyed him again. Most people agree with Rafa.Inter needed to strengthen over the Summer.Very few football people & Journalists expected Inter to win the league this season. After all Roma gifted it to Inter last season on a plate.
