Big gamble giving him the full time job but then again we have a bit of a track record recently in doing this sort of thing i.e. bringing in someone without any experience of managing at this level. Let's hope its the case that we see the next Mark Hughes and not the next Paul Ince or Brian Kidd.

The news about the manager situation is steve kean could be full time manager by the end of the week

This is my club and I will support it through thick and thin and there has been plenty of thin. This is NOT what was promised when Sam was fired. How can Steve Kean have a greater vision after one game than Sam with no money in his two years and a tenth place. Sam was never given any money to show his vision.

Would take Owen Coyle in a heartbeat. Hughton in for Sam - talk about sideways step. O'Neill didn't leave Villa on the best of terms, but he did bring them fairly high up the table. Reo-Coker for 8m, Steve Sidwell, John Carew and Emile Heskey, Warnock, Friedel, Petrov, Young and Downing - he certainly spent a few bobs while he was there.

Joke in my opinion. Absolutely nothing against him and fair enough, I'd be the same in his shoes but where's our ambition? To swap Sam with Kean is a disgrace. So what happens if we lose at home to Stoke after appointing him permanently? Hell will break loose.

So the brothers were in Blackburn today but he has to go to Pune to sort out his transfer budget with Mrs Desai?

Yeah I thought that. very weird is that.

What happen to a big name manager that the owners wanted? Let me guess, nobody want to come to Rovers.

With this weather it certainly does'nt feel like April  worst fears are being laid into plans, I really did'nt think he was insane as the owners are, but he certainly seems it.

God loves a trier  so they say. If we finish better than tenth this season ill eat my hat, infact i'll eat the whole hat section in cowboys clothing r us.

Well im behind you Steve show us what you can do.

We are going down. Sorry to say it. But if Kean think that we will end up in the top half if we have 5mill to buy for. Then he is in the same boat as the owners.

Well done you have just won over reaction of the year.

venky's don't know what they are doing imo! So we change from one of the most experience manager for a complete rookie as manager! What a great decision

And he has got to go to Pune when we have a game at Ewood on Boxing Day?

A day trip to India will hardly be detremental will it. Especially when its such an important matter. Any excuse to have a dig. You know nothing about Kean yet you're already treating him like a failure.

Hows it an over reaction? Our new owners are replacing somebody who wouldnt have taken us down in a million years with a guy with no management experience. They're a joke, an absolute joke. What happens if he does crap? Replace him with our next first team coach? Great ambition here venkys you bunch of #####.

It's just all bizarre, last Monday night at the Disabled supporters Xmas do I said to Tris that obviously a big name was lined up and he would be in within a day or two, this was the general opinion around. To sack a steady, competent (but dull) manager with no real plan is just naive at best and suicidal at worst.

What happens now if we lose V Stoke and WBA will they give him any cash in January or sack him and let Barry White take over?

Good luck to Kean if he takes over though he will have my full support (unless he keeps starting Dunny)

The next question is who will be our new director of football?

"The Rao family are still keen to recruit a big-name to be the club’s ‘face’ and Mirror Sport can reveal that pony-tailed ‘football fan’ Balaji Rao was the one pushing the Diego Maradona plan".

There's a shocker.

These people know as much about Football as I know about mythological monster hedge shaping.

Venky's said that they sacked Big Sam and wanted to bring in a big name manager and play more attacking football.

So where is the big name manager?

The football on saturday was awful.
