Ironic some of you who mercilessly slated Venkys because they disrupted 'continuity' now oppose Kean, who has done nothing wrong yet. I think I told 47er to calm down yesterday, its only a few days after Allardyces sacking, give the new owners time, but if they appoint Kean in a full-time capacity they’re clueless, absolutely clueless.

Since when has promoting a coach/assistant maintained continuity? So many clubs have fallen into that trap over the years. Bolton tried exactly the same thing when Sam left them with Sammy Lee - how did that turn out?
