the sensible thing would be, that mrs d flew her fat ass over here and let the new manager do what he is paid to do. Every minute he has with the squad, where he has time to set up his tactics, is invalubale at this time.

Furthermore, now more then ever, the squad needs a sense of direction, they need a captain to steer to boat and not be left on cruise control.

Looking at the top 10 or so favourites on oddschecker for the new manager is pretty depressing reading.

Kean maybe being set up as a stop gap but tbh whats the alternative if the top choices have turned the job down ? If say O'Neil and Jol have rejected approaches the club would be committing the future to Dave Jones, Stuart Pearce or Curbishley. Why rush when say a Rafa or Mark Hughes might be on the market soon...

Still nervous but the fact the guy on here who knows the most about what is actually happening behind the scenes is being rather optimistic about the situation gives me hope. Better than reading the likes of "get ready for the Championship guys".

Just checked back over all the stories since Saturday, it must have been edited,(maybe re-scheduled, current events ) I clearly remember it being tagged to the end of one of their reports, they even mentioned it seemed strange and the only people attending would the shareholders who have not turned in their shares.

Now I do stand corrected, but in English Law date and venue of an AGM has to be posted two or three weeks prior to

the actual event, in that case could they cancel at such short notice?

Someone on here may know the answer to that one.
